The chair was purchased as a gift for a student and they are very pleased with it. It is more comfortable to sit on in hot weather than the leather chair it replaced, offers a reasonable amount of back support, the fabric seems to be holding up well to heavy daily use and assembly was quick and easy.

The wood tone in the base and arms give this chair a really attractive look that other gray plastic trimmed chairs don't have. Someone said the fabric color was actually green and there are elements of green in it the same way weathered brass or bronze can have a greenish look to them sometimes, but that's kind of an in-the-eye-of-the-beholder type thing. I look at it and I see a medium brown and think it's accurate enough. It's not the same red/blue/black/gray fabric that most other chairs come in and I like it. The microfiber is soft and comfortable.

It went together easily and well for me, and the mechanisms work smoothly and like they are supposed to.

If it matters to the user, be aware that it says on the bottom, 250 pound capacity. Pretty normal for an average office chair, but I don't think they mention it in the description here on Amazon.

All in all a nice chair for the price. Well worth the money in my opinion.

It's a beautiful chair and very solid for the price. It was also a breeze to put together. Love it-

The color is, indeed, cappucino--after the cappucino has been sitting for days and developed a moldy, green look.
Nevertheless, the chair is comfortable and easy to adjust.
I'm glad I bought it, since I like olive green.

For $119, this is a chair made of cheap materials, poorly constructed.

Mine arrived with damaged wood in two places. The damage may have happened in-factory. The wooden base is marred on one of the legs, and it looks as if they simply stained over it.

The other damage was in the wooden arm- it is cracked beneath the cushion over lay. It looks like they took the splintered piece and just smacked it back on with glue.

It could have been from transit- the packaging was sparse.

Noisy foam back cushion and seat cushion are pretty cheapy. When you push your back into the chair, it sounds like you are playing with those foam peanuts used in packaging.

The seat is made of cheap foam, and feels like after a few months of sitting, it's going to be compressed.

Am returning mine for something of higher quality.

I purchased this chair to replace an existing office chair that had seen better days. I received the chair very quickly and was pleased to see the instructions were quite simple to follow. All you need for assembly is a large Phillips head screwdriver. The chair went together very easily and works as expected. The only thing keeping this from being a five star review is the stapled fabric under the arms of the chair. Other than that, it was a very good deal as I have seen similar chairs at office supply stores for twice as much money.

I couldn't put the chair together because two of the screws I needed to remove and reinstall were in so tight that they could not be removed even with an electric screw gun. The fabric under the arms of the chair is stapled. I don't mind the bottom of the chair being like this but you can feel the staples under the arms. Besides not being able to assemble the chair, I was very disappointed in the quality.

This is a very nice chair and pretty easy to put together. The color of the chair is definitely more like an olive.

If you are looking for a low cost, low to moderate use chair, the chair is worth the price. Not substantial enough for 8-10 hours of office sitting. OK for lighter home use. I added some rubber washers to shore up the mounting bolts underneath. Worked out OK.

The chair itself is visually acceptable. However, the item arrived with no screws to assemble. The inner lining to the chair is of poor quality, it has a scratchy foam piece inside that is not very comfortable. The base, hardware and wood seem to be sturdy. Overall, I would of spent a little more to get a quality piece of furniture that would be comfortable to sit in for a long day's work.
