2.0 out of 5 stars REEMIXX
I'm glad I'm not the only one. I've read this story before but I don't see where it lists any other editions of this same book. If I wanted to read this story again I would have bought 2 copies the first time. I wasn't that impressed with the story it had some parts that were just too unbelievable.

5.0 out of 5 stars Proud, February 21, 2008
This review is from: The Boss-The story of a Female Hustler (Paperback)
This is a great book. I am very proud of my girl and can relate to it being from those same streets of the YO. She did keep it real in this one. Thanks for representing us to the fullest. You don't know "The Boss" until you met this one, Ty Hill Baby.

5.0 out of 5 stars BOSSY the HBIC!, January 29, 2008
This review is from: The Boss-The story of a Female Hustler (Paperback)
Sit back and relax because you will not want to put this book down once you start. It will have you constantly turning the pages. I loved Bossy's character, she is a no-nonsense type chick, and if you cross her there will be h*ll to pay. The author represented Ohio with this book! A great debut novel from Tysha and I look forward to reading anything else she puts out! If you haven't picked this book up yet, get it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Don't Let Money Change You, January 14, 2011

This review is from: The Boss-The story of a Female Hustler (Paperback)
Women have just as much hustle as men and in The Boss by Tysha readers will learn just how much. Kayla Tucker, better known as Bossy, was born and raised in the streets and the street is all she knows. In Youngstown, Ohio Bossy has kept her head above ground and will do anything to protect what is hers, especially her family and money. Bossy has made it a point to build alliances with some of the key gangsters in the drug game but yearns for the day that she can get out of the game.

When an unforeseen tragedy takes her mentor away, she realizes the person left in charge may be the downfall of them all. In addition, as soon as Bossy believes she can walk away from her hustle a new menace steps into the picture causing her to step right back in.

The Boss is the story of how dangerous being in the drug game can get. The author provides readers with characters that are full of betrayal, secrets, and deceit. It is a page-turner of true entertainment. The power the main character possesses in the story is unbelievable. I recommend this book to others

3.0 out of 5 stars The Boss- The Story of a Female Hustler, May 2, 2008
This review is from: The Boss-The story of a Female Hustler (Paperback)
As I was reading this book, I realized that this story line was very familiar like I had read it before. I soon remembered that this was a short story in Nikki Turner's Street Chronicles Girls in the Game. I didn't care too much for the short story and I didn't care much for the book. Trying to change up the title does not make this a better story line. I feel bamboozled- don't make the same mistake as I did by buying this book thinking that it's a new story!
