I did not like this book from beginning to end. Through the entire book Vicky couldn't stop finding a reason to hate Max. Yes, his brother was a jerk to her and her daughter, but Max never gave her a reason to fear him. He treated Vicky and her daughter with love and respect. I have never liked Cathy Williams books and this one is not any different.
