This review is from: Bossy, Pt. 1 (Audio CD)
This single is of Kelis album Kelis Was Here and features the radio edit, and a remix. Both tracks are excellent to enjoy the bass, rap, attitude filled singing, and R&B hip-hop blends.

"Bossy" (Radio Edit) [3:30] has excellent booming bass, catch lyrics to sing along, and the featured artist Too $hort. His rap skills display much charisma, great rhymes, and cool thug styles. Kelis has a raw "on your face" attitude quite fierce at times yet on the lines of demanding to be respected! It's a liberating song for the woman who wants to take charge, make demands, and be respected rather than being stepped like a doormat. Perhaps, the cover depicts the reversal of roles.

"Bossy" (Alan Braxe & Fred Falke Remix) [5:40] has an 80's vibe nothing like the typical remixes heard these days. The song is changed but the vocals are preserved considerably. The tempos pick up to higher speeds, much disco 80's hints, and an extension of the actual length of the first track.
