5.0 out of 5 stars Gotta have it if you do construction for a living.
First, these sell at Home Depot for $386 and ebay for cheaper. Most commercial framers will tell you this is a must have tool. I prefer it over a Trac Fast gun. Attach wood and metal (hat channel) furring strips to concrete. Use it to attach plywood subfloor down prior to laying your hardwood floor down. Its fast, easy to use and built like a tank.

2.0 out of 5 stars 3/8 NPT connection. Poor customer service.
According to Bostitch this is their only nailer with a 3/8" NPT connection. Well I connected mine to a Makita Big Bore 2.5HP compressor with a 3/8" hose and a 1/4" to 3/8" transition on the tool side. According to the Bostitch lead tech that I spoke with this ought to operate the tool. The Bostitch compressor that they recommend (model 2600) has less capacity than...

The Bostitch compressor that they recommend (model 2600) has less capacity than mine. No dice. The nailer will shoot in to wood but not bricks or concrete. Tool is properly oiled and compressor works great ony all my other nailers. Bostitch's Customer Service was just plain poor. Almost argumentative. They could not explain why the tool has a 3/8" NPT opening or why their puny model 2600 compressor would be up to the job. The manual provides some minimal assistance on page four, but that only leaves open room for more questions. They'd sell a lot more of these with even some bare bones assistance. Not impressed!! Do not buy this tool before thoroughly researching fittings, hose and compressor requirements.
