Looking at this item before purchase, most of the reviews delt with the contents broken apart. When this box arrived, one of the plastic bands was just ready to pop and spill the contents. Glad it did not have any further to travel. The contents were all intact. The basic problem with this brand of nails was the feeding in the gun (Porter Cable 350). When the rack was down to the last four or five nails it would cock and the the gun would fire but miss the nail head, or sometimes hit the head at an angle that would jam a bent nail in the gun(not very often, just enough to make it frustrating during a hot afternoon of nailing). This would happen even with a full rack behind. I would have to stop work and pull back on the holder and jiggle the short rack back into position. Would work fine until the next rack had only a few nails. This was the second box from the same company, same nails, purchased from a different supplier, that acted this way. Since I am a DIY'er, and the price on these nails were good, I just delt with it. Other brands and sizes I have used did not give me this problem.

I purchased two boxes of nails and was afraid to get them all busted up, after I read the other reviews. But I bet there is maybe a total of two sticks worth of pieces. I mean a couple off the ends of sticks, to total 2 complete sticks. I would say there 99.8 % useable. Great price and free freight.
