Good air nailer for the homeowner,

I have used this nailer with 1" and 2" brad nails. It works well with both tank and tankless air compressors. I have put over 2000 nails through this nailer. It's safety works great for all uses of the home repair person. I have used it to from wall mounting shelving to nailing with glue for wood furniture. If I had one complaint with this product, it is that the depth adjustment is quite sensitive. If the nailer is angled at more than 30 degrees left or right (as one would do when nailing into the corner) the nail will not be fully engaged. When a hammer is used to fully seat the nail. The head of the nail usually bends over. If you purchase this product knowing this minor limitation, I feel that the overall safety, ease of use, and range of nail sizes will more than satisfy the most scrutinizing user.

I am a big time Delta/Porter-Cable enthusiast. Most everthing in my garage says Delta or Porter-Cable on it. They have been great with replacement parts and/or info over the phone. But I have to say that this Bostitch is a great little brad nailer. I own a PC BN200 brad nailer but the Bostitch is my hands down favorite. Super light weight, easy to grip, easy to load and no recoil (if you release the trigger after you remove the tip from the work surface). That's right! No dents even without the plastic tip.Three things I like the best are: 1) It leaves a smaller and cleaner hole than my Porter-Cable. 2) It shoots 5/8" to 2" nails opposed to 3/4" to 2". 3) Being a smaller gun, it fits into tighter spaces and is easier to handle for longer periods of time. Don't get me wrong, the Porter-Cable is great, but the Bostitch is just a little more refined. One thing that should be noted, the Bostitch does not have a quick release nose piece but really, when was the last time you've ever had to clear a jam on a brad nailer? Besides, it won't happen with the restrictive on this unit. At less than an expensive dinner, you owe yourself this one. Don't second guess buy the best one first. It will be money very well spent.

Went to home depot for the senco 20, but at twice the price it was hard to justify. Thought I would take the Bostitch home and try driving 2" brads into blocks of solid oak and maple; then when it failed, I could justify the senco. Well, let me say that it punched 2" brads with complete ease into both the oak and hard maple. ...now I couldn't get the senco. On the other hand, I have a great nailer that does everything I need it to, and at a great price that saved me a hundred bucks as well. So much fun, you actually look for things to nail. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is the lubrication required. A minor nuisance.

I should have purchased this bradnailer a long time ago! You wouldn't believe the time saved attaching base and window trim to walls with no bashed wood or fingers. If you are looking for a great tool at a great price then this is it! The nails are shot with supreme accuracy and even the smallest trim was never "split" like with finish nails (no predrilling needed). Wonderfull light tool that is very easy to load and use. Uses 5/8" 18 gauge to 2" brads which I thought wouldn't hold worth a damn but was shocked! This tool is a must have for anyone who wishes to trim their home or do woodworking.

Worth the money,

This product is definetly worth the 100 bucks and more. I have installed all types of trim with it with little problems. The only problems I encountered with the nailer is the no mar tip easily comes off of the nailer and when a brad jams you have to take the front off to remove the jam but 2 seconds later you are using the gun again.

This nailer has everything I need to install moulding. It is lightweight, performs well, and is reasonably priced. The Senco may be a "better" gun, but it is 50% more in cost. I only use mine occasionally and the Bostitch satisfies my needs.

Bostitch 18-guage brad nailer,

This brad air nailer will shoot brads between the lengths of 5/8 and 2 inches. It's exhaust port rotates 360 degrees to aim the used air away from you and your work. With a no mar tip those precious trim boards will never be damaged. It also features a depth control that allows you to choose how far you want the brad countersunk. The included carrying case helps protect your investment. The 1,000 included brads will get you started.

Good little nailer,

I am a home owner and built my own house 25 years ago. At that time I used the old hammer. Since last Oct. i have been remolding my house and have gone to air Nailers and the 1850 is a time saver. If your painting the trim ... no need to putty the holes.... I would buy it again if I had to.

I bought this nailer to attach trim to a pair of kit sheds I bought online and found it even more useful during the building process. It was a great tool for tacking in temporary supports between roof joists and made it easy to remove those supports when they wee no longer needed. With the range of brad lengths this nailer can handle, it is extremely versatile.I can see a bright future for other projects I'm working on using this tool.
