Bostitch stick nails are designed, engineered and manufactured in four different forms and are generally identified by what holds the nails together and8211; plastic, wire, paper or adhesive. Adhesive collation is used on finish nails and brads for trim and fine woodwork. Finish nails and brads range in length from 3/8-Inch to 2-1/2-Inch with diameters ranging from 15 to 23-Gauge. The plastic, wire and paper collated nails are used for general framing and crating applications. Stick nails range in length from 1-1/2-Inch to 6-1/4-Inch with diameters ranging from 0.113-Inch to 0.165-Inch.

Tried to order a case lot (10 smaller boxes of 5000 staples each) but got 2 or 3 separate shipments. Inner boxes have no seal and because of their weight shift in the boxes. Invariably, this jostles the lid open and staples get loose in the shipping box and the strips are broken. The last order (last year), I just salvaged what I could. This time, I called and explained my frustration. In spite of a partial replacement order, it just came packed the same way and loose staple strips were found inside AGAIN. Rated it a 3 because it is somewhat the manufacturers (Bostitch) responsibility to at least put some tape on the ends of the inside small boxes. Price was okay, about a 20% savings for me. Tried to give feedback to Amazon about the need to better secure product that is that heavy without much success...

We recently purchased a used Bostitch outward cinch SL1250C pneumatic staple gun and have not had any luck finding the staples for it. None of our local hardware stores carry them. I found them on another website and ordered them but the company said they were on back order for 3 weeks. (that was 5 weeks ago). I found these on amazon and was amazed that they had them in stock!!!! Thanks for offering these. I'm sure we will be ordering them from you again soon!
