What a mess. At least they were contained by the outer box. But still they were broken up into small sections. Worked fine, just kind of a pain putting all the little sections into the slot.

OK. I figured the previous customer's experience (Nak "ed") was an isolated one (see his review), so went ahead and ordered. BIG mistake. I received this heavy box (small, but heavy) - that rattled like it was filled with hundreds of "charm bracelets." As I was opening the box, I kept thinking "What did I order that would be making so much noise?" When the box was opened, a huge pile of staples fell out onto the counter - from a staple box that was opened at each end. The long strips of staples were broken up into multiple smaller (some being VERY small - probably useless, in fact) strips. I spent nearly half an hour trying to get the staples back in the box, lined up in rows, etc. The whole thing is really stupid, too. All it would take, from BOSTITCH, is to put ONE circular piece of tape on each end - which would assure the box not open during shipping (or in a store, for that matter). I won't return these, because I need these right away for a home project I'm working on, but I will NEVER buy these online again. In a store? Sure - someplace where I can make sure the box isn't going to fall apart on me - and where I can make sure none of the staples are missing, too.

Bad, bad packaging.
