I have the collection of Boston Acoustics Classic Series and I am very happy. I didn't realize that my old, cheap speakers sounded like tin cans. One is immersed in the sound using these speakers meaning that you don't really pay attention to which speaker the sound is coming from, only that it's there and you are seemingly in the picture being viewed. I actually have to mute the system when my make of phone rings during playback to be sure it's not mine ringing. This collection is attractive sitting in my viewing area. The sub-woofer is the most important part of this system and it's awesome. I don't recommend this speaker collection if you live in an apartment complex (it's too loud for your neighbors). I have the CS26B for my right and left, The CS225CB for the center, the CSSUB10B for the sub-woofer and CS23B for rear surrounds. I plan to add two more CS23B speakers for height speakers in the front to create a Dolby-IIz system. The collection sounds better than my local "small town" cinema and probably as good as a large, professional cinema. Try them with a Yamaha Theater Receiver.

I have these speakers as my rear surrounds on a 5.1 system and I couldn't be happier with them. I originally got them because I was looking for something smaller to have as my front R and L, but I think that was asking a little too much from them, at least for my listening needs. But they are obviously really well engineered speakers that sound great at all the levels they are designed for. And they look pretty cool with the grills on or off, which gives you some aesthetic design control in your system as well. The only issue I had was the price could be a little consumer friendlier, but because of the quality I'm sure I'll have these for a long time, so it's an investment.

I purchased these to use as my rear speakers & they are awesome!!I tried them as the main just to see how they sounded & I was surprised.With a sub woofer they sounded very good.As rear speakers they are GREAT!

Thank you so much for professionally packaging the subwoofer. It is exactly as advertised and sounds primo! The sound is terrific. A tip for other buyers - make sure your amplifier or receiver is on low volume, especially if you live in an apartment. The sound from the subwoofer on mid-range is very clear and loud. I have a subwoofer on my desk computer but this beats that one hands down. Outstanding manufacturing and a great product.

These speakers are primarily intended as rear channel or other support sound. I actually use them to provide ambient sound in my living and dining areas and they serve that purpose well. The sound isn't hollow by any means, but it's not quite full enough to be a focus. So, for background purposes, they work great. If you want to sit down and really listen to some tunes and rock out, these are not the primary speakers you should use. But, if you need some speakers to round out your system or to use for ambient music, I'd certainly recommend.

these speakers are on sale for 60.00 so hurry up and buy them. these are very good satellite speakers and well worth the money. but you will need a good sub to compliment them. i can't say anything but good things about them so you get the picture. they look good, sound good and fit any where. just love em! you will to.

When I bought a new 7.1 Onkyo receiver, I decided to add front upper speakers. I wanted small speakers to fit on top of my entertainment center cabinets. There were a lot of speakers to choose from. These Bostons were relatively cheap, and I'll admit I am partial to Boston speakers so I went with them. What a huge difference in sound quality. If you have a 7.1 receiver but don't have front upper speakers, get some, no matter what brand you choose.

Bostons CS23 bookshelf/satellite speakers rock out, a pair with a sub will rock the house, paired up in a 5.1 system as rear satellites they will produce, great speakers and you don't have to go broke getting them, I had the chance to hear them a local store and they rocked,I purchased thru Amazon for better pricing and with the free shipping you can't go wrong, for the bang for the buck the are worth the listen,if you get the chance, rock on !!!!!!!
