Bring your music outside with the Boston Acoustics Voyager 4 Outdoor Loudspeakers. They feature 4.25" copolymer woofers and .75" Kortec soft dome tweeters that are specially voiced for excellent mid-bass and crystal-clear highs outdoors. All Voyager enclosures, grilles, hardware and speaker components are designed and treated to stand up to weather and temperature extremes. Heavy-duty aluminum C-brackets are included, and the wedge-shaped enclosures make corner mounting easy.

In 2004 I purchased the largest speaker from this line for my back yard that is about 3000 sq yd and unless you are sitting right in between the two speakers you do not get great stereo sound. I added these two additional speaker and situated them so that you can sit anywhere in the listening area and get a great mix of sound. The also project beyond the two existing speakers to the lower level of the yard and the pool and spa areas with clean sound. They do not put out quite as much sound but at 1/3 the cost of the larger model it is enough for 90% of backyards and an easy size to mount and have to look at.

Despite previous reviews, I find that these small speakers offer very good bass to compliment a very pleasing overall sound. On a 10x12 porch they are the perfect solution.
