Boston Bruins Home Hockey Jersey,

Very nice jersey for the price. Looks good - almost as good as an authentic one but much cheaper. I had numbers sewn on the sleeves and on the back, "#4" of course, in the current three colored scheme. I had this done by another company (a local sports shop)after I received the jersey in the mail for a really good price, but this made the jersey complete! I'm very happy how everything turned out.

Not as nice as CCM,

The material seems kinda flimsy, like it will snag/pull a thread easily, and the jersey "hangs" kinda weird on me, just not as nicely as the older CCM jersey I got used, which is better constructed from a nicer, smoother, mesh material. The badge on the chest on this jersey is an entity of it's own - very thick and hard (that's what she said) and it just feels, like, separate from the jersey. The badge on the CCM is just as nice, embroidered and all, but thinner and smoother and a better match for the jersey. Like, the CCM badge is probably twice as thick as the jersey, the Reebok one is probably ten times as thick - seriously. That's why the jersey hangs kinda weird. I wish the Reebok logo on the back was not there at all: this is a BRUINS jersey - not Reebok. Yeah, the CCMs have it, but to me CCM is synonymous with hockey, while Reebok is synonymous with those white, puffy, high top, workout sneakers they came out with in the 80's: the ones women - and guys like Cameo (Word Up!) - would wear with ugly spandex attire. Ugh. I must say the jersey looks better on me than on the guy in the picture. What's his name - Doug? He looks like a Doug. No - Dougie. I guess the jersey looks dumb on Dougie because he's posing - as a B's fan, no less. Don't ever do that. Ever. It's against Bruins Hockey Rules. And the jersey looks kinda girly on him - but that's the cut of the jersey, unfortunately: mine's the same way. But, unlike lil' Dougie (who's probably wearing those puffy white sneakers,) I have something called "shoulders." Dude - lift weights like a real man (LWLARM) and jerseys will fit better. Or drink some beer, eat some pizza, and build yourself a spare tire gut. Also, on a "lesser of two evils" note - I got the last generation of jersey that has the Reebok logo on the back vs. the word Reebok. Terrible that they do this - the only word on any jersey should be a player name or a team name. And I can tell this image here (back view) was Photoshopped to update the new, word logo - you can see an orangey outline on it. Photoshop can do wonders: too bad it won't build shoulders. Too bad for Dougie.

I've seen Bruins jerseys. This isn't one. If you have ever seen a Bruins jersey, you'll probably agree that this is not what they look like. There appear to be some quality control issues with this product, at the product design and the manufacturing stages. Starting with the fact that they used the wrong colors, and the wrong team logo. Several different colors are acceptable choices for Bruins merchandise. Red and blue are not those colors. You may also have noticed that the letters depicted here, C and H, do not feature prominently in the words "Boston Bruins". |
