5.0 out of 5 stars Love these!
I have two (Mrs. Claus and the Redhead) and have had no problems with paint loss. I use them on a daily basis and keep it by the sink for some much needed amusement while doing kitchen chores! I have also given one as a gift and the recipient loves it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Paint rubs off!
I bought this brush because it had a cute girly retro woman as the head. Only after a handful of uses, the paint on the head (face, makeup and hair paint) has rubbed off on everything it touches! I have to be careful not to let the plastic painted parts touch anything or else the paint will rub off onto whatever I'm cleaning. Other than paint problems, the bristles aren't...

Other than paint problems, the bristles aren't very stiff for super scrub jobs but useful for small clean ups. Next time I'll choose durability over aesthetics.

2.0 out of 5 stars OK, but online photo misleading, December 22, 2010

This review is from: Boston Warehouse Brushing Beauty Kitchen Brush, Brunette (Kitchen)
I bought this BW gadget along with several others as gifts for family members and friends who enjoy cooking. What attracted me to this particular piece was the "new wave" girl and her kitschy polka dot dress. Unfortunately, the "dress" is nothing more than part of the cardboard packaging and once the brush is removed, it's just a bubble-headed brush with a regular handle. And, worst of all, she hangs upside down, not upright.

This was so cute for halloween but the face washed off the first week i had it. The brush was great but I really bought it to look festive.

1.0 out of 5 stars face washes off, December 29, 2011

The face wash off almost immediately making it really not worth the price. I was disappointed... spend your money elsewhere.

1.0 out of 5 stars You can not use these to brush frying pans without faces dissolving, July 17, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
They are adorable and they make me happy, but they don't work for what they are designed to do. You can not clean a frying pan w/ grease without causing face to come off. I had to paint a clear coat over faces to keep this from happening and you really can't stop the loss of the hair line. If you are just going to use in your sink it might be OK.

2.0 out of 5 stars Ok, but..., January 24, 2011

I love the idea of these little cleaning ladies...however, the faces wash off quite easily which defeats the whole idea. So, no i would not spend a lot of money on one of these and definitely wouldn't give as a gift, the item self-destructs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Puts the "FUN" in functional!!, February 16, 2010

As a mom, I'm forever doing dishes and it's one of my least favorite chores... My toddler daughter is really into pirates and I bought this scrub brush after seeing a similar version (the "baker lady brush") that my mom received as a gift. This brush is so cute and fun, I found myself washing a dish that I could have popped into the dishwasher instead, just to use it! I had to chuckle at myself... It's a great product and I'd buy it again, but since it can be sanitized through the dishwasher, I think it will last quite a while!
