IF YOU ARE FAMILIAR WITH BOSTONIAN THAN YOU KNOW THERE SHOES ARE VERY COMFORTABLE, MY HUSBAND SAID THEY FEEL LIKE TENNIS SHOES. THIS PARTICULAR STYLE IS VERY STYLISH AND A EXCELLENT PRICE. AMAZON YOU DID IT AGAIN!

Shoes were very comfortable right out of the box. Looks more expensive than $40 paid on sale. Since they're made in China I wouldn't have paid more. BTW, if you wish to know manufacturer and more info on any shoes sold by Amason, just copy the name and search on Endless.com. They're selling identical shoes for much more there, but shipping back is covered.
