5.0 out of 5 stars A thoughtful, dog's eye view of the world., February 14, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: A Boston's World (Paperback)
Mickey, who is a Boston Terrier, has written this delightful little book of philosophical limericks. He reminds us that it is the everyday things in life, like neighbors and friends, and four poster beds, that really matter. Every day is precious. "A Boston's World" is for dog lovers and others, as well. You will treasure this little volume.

5.0 out of 5 stars WORTH READING MORE THAN ONCE, August 15, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: A Boston's World (Paperback)
This was a very cute book, it is very rare that I come across a book about Boston's that is so interesting. I received this book as a gift and it was the best Christmas Gift last year. To read about the similiarities that the Boston Terrier's in this book had with my own was so facinating. I shared this book with many of my friends, this is definately a winner!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars By far and away not your everyday dog book., February 13, 1999
This review is from: A Boston's World (Paperback)
Mickey tells a dogs's story as only a dog can. His day to day activities with his partner Winnie, show the joy and love he has learned from his human roll models. They romp, they play and they explore the never ending wonders of world around them. New adventures abound on a daily basis. Mickey is without a doubt a very literary canine and his talent with the rhyming word rivals that of Ogden Nash and Dorothy Parker. He has appropriately linked his unique writing abilities with a superior photographer resulting in stunning pictures abounding on every page. Two thumbs up. A must read for all dog lovers and an absolute necessity for all Boston afficionados. Peggy and Dee Fitch

5.0 out of 5 stars Micky offers a dog's eye view to life!, February 15, 1999
This review is from: A Boston's World (Paperback)
If you've ever wondered how our four-legged-friends perceive our lives, this book offers some inspired insights. Our canine friends love us in spite of our behavior, and looking through Mickey's eyes can show us how silly and lovable we look to our beasty friends.

4.0 out of 5 stars Laughable insights into the life of a non-Presidential dog., February 13, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: A Boston's World (Paperback)
This is a funny book about an average dog and his life. Mickey judges people and other animals by how well they play ball. Not a bad rule of thumb- or claw- so to speak. It's also the first time we've had a view of a dog's life that wasn't from a Presidential, White House viewpoint. We got it as a gift and enjoyed it.

4.0 out of 5 stars A must for Boston owners and good fun for the rest of us., February 13, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: A Boston's World (Paperback)
Dogs have interior lives. Some have satisfying interior lives, or so Mrs. Nock, writing as Mickie, leads the reader to believe. Mickie's "thoughts" are faithfully recorded as he leads a life of small adventures with his consort Winnie, his family, and assorted four legged creatures in the bayside town which he calls home. His monologue is soothing, simple, and charming. Good fun for the whole family. Two thumbs up!

I find that I share this book more between friends than any other book I have owned! The photos, limericks and insights into everyday life through Mickey and Winnies' eyes are wonderful! This book is a must for Boston Terrier owners or those researching the breed for a companion. Other breed lovers should read it also! My Boston Terriers give it a paw's up also!!!
