less good than expected
This cup is not as nice as I thought after looking at the photo. The other side of it has got much less elegant painting on it (heavier, with large flowers). Also, it is much thicker than one would expect of an old-style porcelain teacup.

I wasn't sure about the color of the blue in this pattern, but I am delighted with it. The little butterfly inside is darling. The cup and saucer have a nice weight to them. But beware - the company packaging is not well suited for preventing breakage.

I bought 2 sets to go with the Botanic Blue Tea Set.
The packaging is attractive with the cup sitting on the saucer in a clear plastic box but it really needs to have something between the teacup and saucer. I could hear them clinking against each other inside the amazon box as I brought it in the house and I could tell by the sound something was broken. The saucers were fine but the cups were chipped on the bottom.
