At first you have to hide the fact that at, age 53, you are using a coloring book! Nevertheless I have stuck with it through a number of pages and have found out that my retention and ability to recall through visualizing the diagrams increases many fold versus the read and think method. When I revisit the pages to study the topic it comes back much easier. The book seems to be a good balance between the written text/descriptions and the illustrations. It takes a fairly big time commitment and at times you ask yourself, "Is this the best use of my study time?". Well after a few days the accuracy of my retention answered that question with a huge YES. It is much more technical than how one might visualize as 'coloring book'. I really do enjoy it and am learning the topics.

This is an incredibly detailed and thorough examination of the anatomy and physiology of plants. A great way to for visual learners to supplement their learning experience. I found it extremely helpful in my college Introductory Botany course.

I wanted to know more about plants and how to look at plants. How do you start without to find out when you do not really want to commit time to doing a college course or reading technical books? I am more than pleased to find a book that is so complete and is written for adults. Can't belive how much fun I'm having with it. Thanks, Authors!

I ordered this book to provide reinforcement for my Botany class's Histology Unit. I already own the Biology and Zoology editions. These science coloring books are an excellent tool to add to your classroom. I would also recomend them to any post secondary student who is studying Botany.

I found this extremely helpful for a Botany For Gardener's course I am taking. Even though it seems to take a long time to color each page, it really helps to visualize the material and remember it more easily.

I am presently enrolled in a Botany course at Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA. This book was recommended as a study guide. I found it to be excellent in helping me to visually understand the inner workings of plants. Great coloring book, too.

I wanted a fun way to learn about plants. This book is perfect. I'm not much of an artist, but this book is easy to color and a lot of fun. The kids love it too.

This is a great book when paired with Horticulture Principles and Practices by George Acquaah. By coloring in the pictures and processes illustrated here I find it very easy to return to the text book and to understand what had previously been very complex vocabulary when I read the text the first time.

The coloring book helps everything come alive and be understandable. This would make a great summertime exercise for junior high or senior high students or to keep any adult actively learning.

It took a little doing to learn the system they use but once I caught on it is relatively simple. I highly recommend this book. I have never used this type of learning tool before and find it keeps me focused on the topic at hand.

The book "Botany Coloring Book" arrived in excellent condition, and the packing was excellent to prevent any damages to the book. I am enjoying the information and plan to use color pencils to color the parts of the plant to gain a better understanding of the subject matter. Thanks!
