5.0 out of 5 stars You Don't Like Me? I Don't Like You!!!
Gangsta Boo is the hardest female rapper since Lady of Rage's supreme reign. Gangsta Boo enhances every single song she appears on. Being completely honest, I have never heard her spit some wack garbage...EVER. Gangsta Boo's flow is that straight butter. She has a fluency and acuity on the mic that few female rappers possess. Her aggressiveness and in-yo-face...

5.0 out of 5 stars You Don't Like Me? I Don't Like You!!!, November 10, 2002
This review is from: Both Worlds 69 (Audio CD)
Gangsta Boo is the hardest female rapper since Lady of Rage's supreme reign. Gangsta Boo enhances every single song she appears on. Being completely honest, I have never heard her spit some wack garbage...EVER. Gangsta Boo's flow is that straight butter. She has a fluency and acuity on the mic that few female rappers possess. Her aggressiveness and in-yo-face attidude catapults her above the average female rapper. Her voice and cadence is untouchable. As well as being one of the best female rappers she was definitely the most gangsterist on the Hypnotize Minds label ( when they were at their prime)with probably the exception of T-Rock.

Gangsta Boo also has a lot of confidence. In a clique full of hard nosed men and to be the only female repping that hardcore in the group, she gotta be bringing the funk. And the funk is serious. The first song `Hard Not To Kill" sets the tone for what is a great album. Placed over a hard hitting beat Gangsta Boo warns all oncomers about what time it is. She carries this toughness over to "Mask 2 My Face" which has an incredible beat. Next is Love Don't Live, which has a sample of "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" by Miles Gregory. This has to be one of the best songs on the album. Gangsta Boo reflects on past relationships and feels abandoned and out of sync. The sample is used oh so beautifully and doesn't disgrace a classic. Nearly every song is a classic. Can I Get Paid has Lady Boo tackling the issue of stripping and how to get more money off of it. It utilizes a simple but effective chant "get yo broke a$$ out the club if you aint gone tip!!!" and makes for a memorable song. M-Town Representatives features the whole Hypnotize Camp Posse and is a great song. Other tight songs include I Thought U Knew, Same Block, Wut U Want, Good & Hi.

The best song on the album however is "I Faked It Last Night". This song features DJ Paul and sports one of the best Hypnotize Minds beats ever. Gangsta Boo talks about how a man talks all that junk about tearing it up and killing it when in reality he didn't do nothing special. DJ Paul retaliates with a menacing verse defending the men. He didn't see her complaining when it was going down and even if he didn't do nothing he still got his. If ya know what I mean....

Overall this is a great album; one of Hypnotize Mindz best. Gangsta Boo has no problem lyrically smacking somebody upside the head and to add to that the beats are off the chain. I would recommend this album to any fan of hip hop music. 5 Star classic!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Bangin', August 31, 2001

...When you have a hard day at work, you will want Gangsta Boo to say to you, "They don't love me? I don't love them! They say ...me. I say ...them!" I picked this up three days ago and I play it on my way to and from work every day. Beats are great, Boo has a sense of humor, and every time I listen I crack up and groove to something new. Just get it. Way to go, Boo.

This is a very good cd that you can listen to over and over. Especially the two songs " Can I Get Paid" and " Love Don't Live". Anyone who buy this cd will be happy. I just got it and I will listen to it everyday.

What I wouldn't do for Gangsta Boo to go back to Three 6! She has to be the tightest Female Rappers alive today... But she is unable to showcase Her true talent without the Beats of Juicy J and Dj Paul... This is the tragedy of Hypnotized Minds Entertainment... They have lost sooooo much talent throughout the years due to Money, now we are stuck listening to Rappers like Lil-Whyte and Frayser Boy, complete Garbage! Thier music used to have depth, now they are just like anyother Hip Pop group out there, with no substance... To bad they have let thier beats go to waste, because I know my Gangsta Boo would tear it up, like she does in this album...

5.0 out of 5 stars CLASSIC cd from THE hardest female in tha game!, July 14, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Both Worlds 69 (Audio CD)
I kno a lot of people like 2 hype up they favorite artist by sayin they tha best. But in this case, it's true. I don't care what nobody says, Gangsta Boo is THE hardest female emcee, her flow is untouchable n is rite up there wit Digga & Remy Martin. Now gettin 2 tha album, its got them hott beats that only 3 6 could bring. She definately has shown she's matured a lot since 'Enquiring Minds'. Hard Not 2 Kill is a perfect joint 2 set it off wit. Its got a sick, kinda slow beat along wit straight fire lyrics from Ms. Boo. They Dont Luv Me is anotha hott joint that got tha classic southern vibe to it. Luv Dont Liv is when tha lp REALLY takes off. This is tha b-side to tha jumpoff single. It deals wit how it feels 2 get heartbroken, which we all can relate to, n she still keeps it street. Can I Get Paid is a hott joint n tha perfect jumpoff single. Its got a real dark beat n her flow is sick. Otha standout tracks are Wut U Niggas Want, Same Block, Good & Hi, I Faked It Last Night, M-Town Representatives. Howeva, tha best track of this album is What Would U Do (Your Girls Man). Its got tha hardest beat on tha album plus her sick is Sstraight FIRE. It talks about how if her man wanna fcuk anotha girl, its fine wit her, jus tell her. Hell she mite even join in. All I gotta say is if u wanna start 2 get into Hypnotized Minds, this album is a MUST!!! Keep doin ya thang Ms. Lady Gangsta Boo

Gangsta Boo outdoes herself with this one. Alongside the HCP Boo holds it down on the album the top tracks are probably Hard Not 2 Kill, Wut U Niggas Want, Good & Hi, and I Faked it last Night, but every single one is tight. This isn't a typical 36 album, you can realize that very soon, new ideas, genius beats, masterful lyrics, this CD has it all, if you already like the 36 and whole HCP you'll appreciate it even more.

4.0 out of 5 stars BW *69, March 22, 2003
This review is from: Both Worlds 69 (Audio CD)
Gangsta Boo was one of the only female rappers that could carry a good album... what am I saying, she WAS the only one that could make a listenable album. She's hot too. Anyway, it isn't the greatest, as the lyrics get repetitive, but she doesn't take it all that seriously like some rappers. I guess she figured "it's just for fun, I'll make money, who cares what I'm saying." The beats make it good.

I Purchased the album because I'd heard snippets of it at my cousins house. In the UK she is very underground like anybody else whose lyrics are to explicit. I think this album has to be one of the best that I have purchased so far this year. Keep up the good work and anybody who didn't like it needs to recogize.
