5.0 out of 5 stars A very different approach from slipknot
Bother is a fantastic song in all ways. it cannot be faulted.
the lyrics are very well written and corey really shows the world that he can actually pull together a note without screaming. his voice is incredible, one of the best metal vocalists(beaten only by mudvayne's chud or disturbed's david).
I dont even have to go into the music as you dont even notice it...

3.0 out of 5 stars Nothing special...
When Corey Taylor took a vacation from Slipknot many fans were upset. Two years later Stone Sour is enjoying success after their debut album while Slipknot is just getting back together to hit the studio. I dont even have to go into the music as you dont even notice it as the lyrics and vocals captivate you the whole way through the song. yes, it is that good! I would really recommend you all to buy stone sour's album as vocals like this can be heard all over the cd (even though the music is once again that of a nu metal band).

Two years later Stone Sour is enjoying success after their debut album while Slipknot is just getting back together to hit the studio. Bother was the first single off of the album and to be quite honest I was not impressed. Taylor's voice is much improved on Bother but nothing special when compared to other vocalists in his genre. Musically it's not very bland and what you'd expect from the members. Lyrically it's much improved from Slipknot but still leaves a sour (pardon the pun) taste in my mouth. If you're looking to try Stone Sour out this is the best start possible as the album follows in the singles footsteps.
