BOTOX by Dr. Ron Shelton, November 21, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Botox (Paperback)
This is a wonderful book written by a superbly qualified dermatologist. He writes in question and answer format so the average reader can easily understand the procedure and the risks and benefits of this treatment. I've now read three other books on the subject and none were as easy to understand as this one. It's factual and there are no hard-to-understand medical words. Overall, the book is very reassuring to those of us who might want BoTox but are anxious about trying something new. This a must-read for any patient contemplating either surgery or BoTox. A Reader from New York

The only book about Botox that's worth buying, November 2, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Botox (Paperback)
Finally, an easy-to-read book that is factual and discusses the pros and cons. Obviously, Dr Shelton is academically minded and conservative. His book is extremely thorough and is not filled with hard-to-understand medical terms. I now understand why Botox is safe! I wish other books would be this good, and inexpensive.

An essential guide for any botox user, October 5, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Botox (Paperback)
Botox helped me make a decision to undergo the botox injections. It answered a lot of questions that my doctor never did. Through out the process the doctor said what a great patient I was. We worked as a team in deciding how and what to inject. I think I got much better results from the treatment as a result of reading this book. Definitely read this before you see any dermotologist.

INSIGHT FROM A BOTOX PRACTITIONER, July 17, 2005
This review is from: Botox (Paperback)
I bought this book for patient education for the waiting room at the same time I bought "The Botox Book" by Dr. Michael Kane. I found Dr. Kane's book much more well explained, comprehensive and (even) more accurate. Dr. Kane is a researcher as well as a highly skilled practitioner, and lectures and publishes articles on Botox in professional venues (The American Society of Plastic Surgeons, etc.) "The Botox Book" is far superior to this one in every aspect.
