Kathy Cisneros has demonstrated that you can help children of all ages learn how to be creative, have fun and save the environment as well. A decidely excellent effort, a book for now and the future. Children and teachers will love it.

This is not your average craft book. Kathy Cisneros has blended creative wisdom and environmental awareness into a fun, innovative book that can be enjoyed by both adults and children. The illustrated, easy-to-learn crafts and unique poems and plays make this book adaptable to schools and organizations. This is a must read!

this book is appealing in so many ways. every page is filled with memorable characters, projects, ideas so simple they sublimely surpass genius. the concept of turning something as trite as a plastic cap into the hub of craft and artistry for every kid age 1 to 100 is something to be applauded, noticed, and continued-Kathy Cisneros is the one to represent us all in such a fun and intelligently entertaining way. thumbs way up for this crown of a cap of a book!plus-wonderful plays for schools across the states!!!-what more can one wish for.

This book makes us all evaluate the things we take for granted. By teaching teachers how to utilize the items that most families throw away, we not only enable our classrooms to flourish with disposable items, we enable our children to view the world in a whole new light Things that we have taken for granted can be utilized in so many different ways that enable us all to grow and see the world in a different light. By seeing things in a different way, we enable ourselves to see the beauty in things that we may have otherwise disposed of without the slightest thought of resurrection. Let us all change our mindsets and revert to ways of old where nothing was taken for granted and everything had a purpose and a reason for saving for a future use. Let us all go back there and let this book be our guide.

This is one of my fav's! It is easy for children, teaches recycling can be fun! Great projects for groups such as birthday parties, sleep overs, or projects for raining days. Costs for projects are low, in this economy, doing more with less is now "in" and this book hits the ball right out of the park! Now is the time for this book!

I do not like this book and can't even give it away. First graders could have done better. There is no way that kids can use this. I even had a hard time with it. I ended up giving it to the Goodwill. It is black and white pictures too. It might have been more inviting and easier to follow if things were in color. Search the web for ideas. You will find much better ideas. I am a school teacher and I would not have this in my class room. I don't ever rate this low. Please feel free to review all my reviews. I would give this a zero rating if I could.
