Do not buy this album if you are looking for the real wino from Obsessed,Hidden Hand and Place of Skulls.

I couldn't let that one star review sit there and mislead people.

Wino are dirty, heavy, and angry in the best way possible. This collects everything they did. I got hooked back in the late '90s when I randomly picked up the Wino/Nero 7" and Johnny Deeper immediately became a mixtape staple, usually pairing up with Shellac's Wingwalker. I've been looking for a digital copy of it for years, and it's as good as it ever was. For fans of heavy rock with buzzsaw guitars and big, dirty bass, a la Scratch Acid, Big'N, and Shellac. I recommend previewing Johnny Deeper to see what they're all about.
