Best diaper rash cream!
Hannah
Works great in preventing diaper rash and has a pleasant, mild, vanilla-like scent which I much prefer to more medicinal smelling creams like Desitin.

My daughter is almost 4 months old and has had diaper rash for almost 3 months. That may not sound like a ringing endorsement for this product, but let me explain. I have tried several types of creams over the past months: California baby 12% zinc oxide, Burt's Bees, normal strength Butt Paste (16% zinc oxide), Triple Paste, Desitin Maximum Strength (40% zinc oxide), Pinxav, and a mixture of Aquaphor and Maalox. I also tried several hours of diaper free time (a messy process), cloth diapers, cloth wipes, running her bottom under running water with each diaper change, and using a hair dryer to make sure her bottom is extra dry before putting a new diaper on (if you do this make sure to use the cool setting). With all of these products and tricks she had open sores on her bottom that would sometimes bleed. Now, while she still has a little bit of a persistent red rash, this product is able to keep her diaper rash in check, keeping the sores away.

This is the only ointment that cleared my son's open sore diaper rash! I tried many others including ones that also had 40% zinc oxide. This one started clearing it up in about 24 hours of use. Highly recommend.

Really love this stuff. Highest zinc oxide and really works! Tried triple paste, desitin max. And this had best and fast result. Important to dry area all the way before applying.

My baby woke up with a bright red case of diaper rash out of the blue. We use cloth and change him frequently, so this was a surprise. I changed his diaper every two hours or when wet, washed him with water down there, let him air dry, and then applied a layer of this stuff. Wow -- almost entirely cleared it up in just one day! Amazing stuff! To protect our cloth diaper, we used disposable liners from Bummis (other brands make them as well). But if a little buttpaste gets on one cloth diaper....eh... which do I care more about: a diaper or my baby's bottom? I know they make a natural brand for use with cloth diapers, but I already had this stuff, so...

By the way, if you use both this and the Original Butt Paste, you may notice that, though they are in the same size tubes, the Maximum Strength tube seems to contain far less product. We thought it was a manufacturing issue, so I contacted the company. They promptly responded and said both tubes contain product by weight not volume. The Maximum Strength product contains 40% zinc oxide, which is heavier than the percentage zinc oxide in the Original formula. Therefore, seems like less product.

This may not be what most of you want to read, but if it helps just a few of you, it's worth it.

I'm a 60-something grandfather, haven't had to deal much with diaper rash for quite some time. But last spring I developed the most stubborn case of, uh, well, jock itch that I've ever had. I tried one antifungal powder, cream, spray, whatever after another; I even got some prescription medications. Everything seemed to clear up the rash just fine until the day after I stopped using it; then the rash would back in full bloom. A couple of months ago, I read an Amazon review by someone who had cured their jock itch with this stuff. Figuring I had nothing to lose, I tried it, and, after a month, voila! rash was gone, and six weeks later, it hasn't returned. I recommend using the maximum strength, 40% zinc oxide, version. And if it works for you like it did for me, let someone know!

My son is almost two months old. I've been using this after every diaper change. He has never had any skin problems. I literally use the finest amount. I think 1 tube will last a year or more. FYI, it won't dissolve into his skin when first applied, but it does on it's own while he's wearing the diaper. I def. recommend this product.

This didn't seem to work for my little one. I used this and the regular one as well, and it just seemed to make the problem worse, to be honest. She has sensitive skin, so it might just be her, but this definitely didn't help.
