I wasn't into foreign films, but my sister said this was a movie worth watching. After is saw "La Boum", I wanted to see it again, and again, and again. I am not sure how may times I watched that movie! Marceau enchants you into her french teenage world of boys, friends, and family. "La Boum" is and always will be my favorite movie, it is timeless!

Like many others, I was first introduced to this movie in my French class. It is funny, a tad cheesy, but very resonating with teenagers. This movie became a staple in my French class every single year; it's the only movie we demand time after time! Sophie Marceau gives a great performance as Vic. And who can ever forget the theme song, "Reality," by Cook da Books? A definite, must-own!

This movie is so hilarious! My French class laughed aloud through the whole thing, but I will never get that theme song out of my head!!!
