If you've gone bankrupt in the past 10 years, you'll discover how to put the most positive information on your credit reports after bankruptcy, how to avoid being taken advantage of with outrageous interest rates when applying for any type of credit--including a car loan or mortgage, and how to make sure you don't repeat the same mistakes that got you into debt in the first place. This book is a must-have for anyone who seriously wants to be the master of their financial destiny instead of being a slave to MasterCard.
This book is the most widely read, most popular book on starting over after bankruptcy. And it's the number one choice among bankruptcy attorneys, who often give a copy to their clients when their bankruptcy is discharged, as a way of helping them get a fresh start. No other book so clearly answers the question: NOW THAT I'VE GONE BANKRUPT, WHAT'S NEXT?
Today you have a unique chance to start fresh. Don't fall for the scams I fell for. Don't waste your time trying to find a secured credit card that reports your credit payments, doesn't report as a secured card, yet still has a grace period. Instead, spend your time with your family, building your business or your career. All the hard work has been done for you, by me. Use my book the way my friend Michele used it--to get back on your feet after bankruptcy--which was the whole reason I wrote it in the first place. Take each chapter one at a time and you'll find yourself back on track within 6 months to 2 years. And even if you get off track, BOUNCE BACK FROM BANKRUPTCY will help you find your way back. And please, write me and let me know if there's any question I left unanswered! My email address is: MWBkrpt1C@aol.com.

Okay, but...,

This book wasn't as helpful to me as the ones by Steven Strauss and the Cahers. She does offer some very practical money management tips, but the bulk of her really helpful information can be found on the web or in more professionally written guides.

Not worth the money,

While this book does have some good ideas, it's not worth the money. (and as mentioned in the review above, it has some bad ideas, like the $200 car. You'd probably go back into debt when the car breaks down on the highway & you have to call roadaide assistance) The author is an average consumer, so I guess I shouldn't have expected all that much. The list of secured credit cards can be found by surfing the net. The writing & editing is incredibly poor with exclamation points !! used all over the texts. I plan to serach for a book written by a professional accountant or tax attorney.

I think this book is great. I checked it out of the library, but I am going to buy it. I can relate to everything in the book, but I really appreciated the area on student loans. I just completed a doctorate program and I do not want to go into default. I learned a lot of strategies in this book to prevent this. I also like the forms for writing to the credit bureaus. I have told friends about the book. This book is less than twenty dollars and it is a good reference tool!
