In Bound for America we accompany the Kennedy's on the long and difficult voyage to America, through quarantine, immigration, and fever. The family is split up and Eamonn eventually makes it to Boston alone and encounters "NO IRISH NEED APPLY" everywhere he looks. We follow his efforts to try and earn enough money to reunite his family in the face of many unexpected obstacles.
