This is hardcover. I bought this book directly from David at ShibariCon 2006 after enjoying his class at Austin Ropecraft Symposium 2005. The author is a very experienced photographer with a distinctive compositional style working almost exclusively in monochrome and employing light to perfection. He is, as well, a visionary rope artist. This book includes some of his earliest published rope art and I highly recommend it to anyone with an interest in either fine art photography or Japanese-influenced rope bondage. If you like both, it should become a cornerstone of your book collection.
