As always with this genre, I'm going to issue a warning on this book. It is a very detailed erotic romance with scenes of BDSM and SM that may not be suitable for everyone.
Now, for an erotic romance, I was very impressed with the plot and characters. Or rather, the fact that there was a plot and had memorable, relatable characters. The story-line for the book, (supposed good girl and bad boy musician are ten years apart in age), was crafted in a true-to-life manner. After reading the book, I didn't sit there thinking how unrealistic it was. The characters and internal thoughts evolved and matured throughout the story. True to romance with a happy ending, you'll be satisfied in every aspect when you close the pages. The dialog was just phenomenal and I adored the secondary characters immensely. I appreciate that the love scenes weren't redundant. I highly recommend sitting in front of a fan while reading this one. Seriously. I will never look at a strawberry the same way again!

Still recovering from a break up with her erotic photographer boyfriend, Ruby Scott meets a sexy rock star on the verge of hitting it big, Mark St. Crow. Mark is instantly attracted to Ruby and he recognizes her tattoo from some erotic art he recently purchased. Ruby feels betrayed because the photos she posed for, for her ex-boyfriend were never meant to be sold and she thinks that Mark is only interested in her because of what he thinks the photos might imply about her. However Ruby is also attracted to Mark and after an impromptu semi-public, scorching hot make out session, Mark invites Ruby to his show later that evening and the fun and games begin.

I especially loved Ruby's character. In her late thirties, she is beautiful, independent and focused on her career. When presented with an opportunity to realize her most secret fantasies with an attractive younger man, she embraces her sexuality and goes for it without becoming needy and expecting more from what started out to be a casual encounter.

Mark is a super sexy, leather wearing musician who is making the most of his rock star lifestyle. He can have most any woman he wants but soon comes to realize he may have met his match in Ruby. He finds he has feelings for her beyond their sexual relationship even though Ruby tries to keep some emotional distance between them.

While I'm not a usually a fan of the BDSM scene I found the love scenes between Mark and Ruby to be amazingly erotic and irresistible. I looked forward to each and every encounter and I admit I had a hard time reading this book in the company of others as I actually blushed many times throughout. Not only was the lovin' hot but the romance was sweet and believable and I was pulling for Mark and Ruby to find their way to a happily ever after ending right from the beginning.

On a side note, after reading this book, I may never look at a strawberry as an innocent little berry again. That's all I'm sayin', read the book if you want to know.

Whew, want a bit of Domme/Sub with your reading? This book was damn hot and had one hell of a gut clenching moment at the end. I think I stopped breathing watching the elevator doors close. Ms. Feisty's name fits, this was one feisty book! Definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a hot, very tantalizing read. I loved the hero in this book, bald with black rimmed glasses, a muscular build and a musician in a rock band! DUDE! That's hot!

I read this book the other day and I can't get it out of my head. I was absolutely fascinated with Ruby and mark and the dynamics of their D/s relationship...hmmm, does that say something about myself I'm not aware of. I don't know, but I got so caught up in their lives. There was a realness to this story that I simply loved, even if it is a bit kinky. It's not over the top bondage, and it's really not bondage they are into but more of the domme/submisive roles. I loved that each of them took on their respective roles more as a way of hiding who they truly are, but yet it is who they are.

This book is one of those that has it all, great dialogue, real characters, believable situations, some really great sex, umm, I mean some really explosive sex, and of course, a happy ending! So if you see this book sitting around at your bookstore, I'd pick it up if I were y

Ruby's character is strong, steady, and secretly naughty. Her fantasies are scorching hot and she never thinks that they would ever come true. Mark St. Crow made me shiver. Sexy with a capital "S", he is the epitome of bad-boy and angel all rolled into one. The love scenes between Mark and Ruby simply shattered all ideas I had about D/s and then some.

BOUND TO PLEASE by Lilli Feisty is sure to please! Erotic, intense, passionate, powerful - all of these adjectives describe this titillating tale of a couple's journey to attaining the perfect balance in their relationship. It was marvelous!

I will say that there is a reason why this book comes with a warning... it is smoking hot! I found it rather odd that there was a warning label about how hot this story was on the back cover of the book. I thought it was cute and didn't pay much more attention to it. Well let me forewarn you that this book has some very descriptive erotic romance with scenes of both BDSM and SM. I personally am not much of an erotica reader... so I normally do not read anything this hot and will confess to blushing quite a lot while reading it. But I will say that I really liked the main characters. Both Ruby and Mark were very likeable and rather memorable. The dialogue alone was phenomenal. I quickly found myself drawn into their irresistible romance. This is definitely not for the faint of heart - but for those of you who enjoy erotica or are looking for something spicy with fantastic characters (full of tattoos, piercings, and fond of bondage) combined with great writing, then this is one you'll definitely want to grab.

You will never think of a strawberry in quite the same light after reading this *snickers*.

Want to explore the BDSM world without going too deep? This is the book for you. Ruby and Mark's relationship involves bondage and dominance, but not enough to scare away those that prefer the lighter side of that darker world. At first I thought that Mark and Ruby's age difference would've been made out to be a huge problem, but was glad that didn't end up being the case. The age difference meant nothing to Mark and Ruby. The chemistry between them is astonishing. Despite the fact that they come from different worlds and that they are total opposites, the attraction is constantly boiling under the surface and quite often boils over. If you are looking for a book that is full of some of the hottest sex scenes ever, this is the book for you. But it's not just about sex. Mark and Ruby's characters are unique and so are the friends and family that surrounds them. There are interesting side stories running throughout the book so the reader is never bored. Ruby is in her late thirties and is an event planner. Her current event which she is planning with her best friend Meg, is a party featuring an up and coming band. Mark St. Crow is the lead singer, ten years Ruby's junior, and they immediately notice each other. Ruby's ex-boyfriend, Ash, is into BDSM and Ruby thoroughly enjoyed that part of their relationship. So much so that she wished they could have explored it even more. Ash also is a professional photographer and Mark has just happened to have bought a picture of Ruby bounded by rope.

Ruby is shocked that he owns that picture but she is also very intrigued. After a very impromptu make out session at the club, Mark promises to show Ruby his skills as soon as his gig is over. That night, Ruby's submissive dreams come true, as the dominant Mark plays out her sexual fantasies. She is blindfolded and spanked, and she loves every minute of it. Mark gives it to her good, but always taking the utmost care in her desires.

After several intimate nights, Ruby starts realizing Mark is much more than just fun in the bedroom. She yearns to find out all about him. However, Mark has a very demanding schedule, and is travelling on a consistent basis. Ruby's parents abandoned her when she was a teenager, and finds it very difficult to and scared to become close to Mark. They both want more, but they both need to take that final step to make a commitment a reality.

I love this couple and I can't say enough how much I enjoyed this Bound to Please. I love their relationship - Ruby wants to be oh so naughty, always dreaming of all the fetish toys but she is still a bit shy to admit it. She wants to be possessed and have someone else in control. In the bedroom, or on the kitchen table, she is into it. But it still embarrasses her when Mark leaves her notes that tell her not to wear underwear on their date:

Puzzled, she unfolded the not and read.

Take off your panties and put them in your purse. M.

For a second she just stared at the note. Did Mark really want her to do this? Here? Now?

She kinda wanted to.

[...]She smiled and savored the anticipation of waiting for his show to end. She was going to leave her panties on. And find out for herself what happened when she disobeyed an order from Mark St. Crow.

I'll give you a hint - her punishment involves a naughty spanking.

Mark is a dominant, all the way and damn does that make him sexy. His flirting with Ruby the first night they met sealed the deal for me. I love how Lilli Feisty writes him - so in control and confident from the moment he meets Ruby. His control of Ruby in the bedroom is hot to read, just as his sweet comforting nature that takes over as well. I also really enjoyed that they both have careers and they both are serious about them. They can't see throwing their careers away, but they also want a relationship. I really think it was handled in a mature way and even when they were in despair, and they didn't think they could ever work it out, they still held true to their characters. Mark still had his eye out for other subs, although you knew deep down he wanted Ruby. I was put off that Mark's eye roamed the minute he and Ruby got into an argument, but that is what his character does. Ruby knows this, and they make it work.

The only little thing I didn't love in this book is the side story of Meg and her husband and their marital problems. I thought the book would have been just as good as Meg as a best friend without all of her drama.

There is a scene with a strawberry, and it is one of my favorite smexy scenes I have read this year. You are going to have to read it to get the full satisfaction from this scene , but I don't think I will ever be able to look at a strawberry the same way again. And it is not just what is done with the strawberry, but the way Mark makes her do it, and just when you think he is in complete control of the situation, he even gets cocky and tells her how easy she is to submit, she reverses it and bam - Ruby is in for another naughty punishment. Hot stuff.

Bound to Please is great for a novice BDSM reader like myself, and I am interested to take it up a notch.

Ruby Scott is an event planner who has a thing for being organized. She's sworn off dating artists and musicians and has had previous family experience with and witnessed what it's like to be with someone like a musician who's music always comes first. That and the insane amounts of travel. Mark St. Crow is the lead in one of the hottest bands and for lack of better words, is a complete slut! When Ruby's best friend's husband decides to work with Mark St. Crow's band, it means they'll be working in the same building together and getting close (or in too far) with Mark isn't something that Ruby want's any part of.

I did like the story between Mark and Ruby, I liked how she was attempting to resist him all the time, attempting to always end it after every encounter and I loved his persistence for her. It was a little hard to relate to the character since there wasn't as much of a back story to Ruby and Mark like there was with Joy and Ash in Dare to Surrender. Also the small scenes with Ruby helping her best friend with her marriage was great. I love how in Lilli's books there's always the best friend dilemma too, makes the main characters feel more real.

My favorite part of the entire book though had to be the brief one page scene where Joy bangs the door into Ash and they meet for the first time. I think I actually screamed "AHH! JOY AND ASH!"

I liked this book but I didn't like it half as much as I liked Dare to Surrender. Mark and Ruby didn't have that deep connection.

Finally, a romance with some good'ol naughty sex! haha. I loved that Mark St. Crow was donning the shaved head and glasses -stearing away from the standard portrayal of the "sexy" man (shoulder length blonde hair...blah).The spanking...the PLUG...Loved it!!!It was a hard read to put down and I can't wait to start another of her books!
