Book Description

A night of passion has forever bound Jenna Morgan to a man she thought she would spend her future with. Instead, he dumped her with barely a word of explanation and left the state. Three years later, she’s a single mom struggling to provide for her son and young sister, and harassed by an obsessed stalker.

After leaving home three years ago to run his aging grandfather’s ranch in Texas, Sam Strickland returns to Tennessee to discover a child he didn’t know existed. He thought he was saving Jenna’s future when he left home, and left her behind. He never dreamed he’d return to see a child with eyes the same shade as his own - and Jenna in serious trouble.

Sam thinks his only dilemma is whether he can earn back the trust of the woman he loves and commit to the responsibility of fatherhood. But Jenna’s life is more complicated than he could have imagined and he finds himself involved in a dangerous situation that could threaten his new son’s life.

5.0 out of 5 stars This is an amazing book! January 2, 2012
By n22v

Bound to You is one of the best books I've read over the past few years. I'm a big fan of full length novel, single-title contemporary romance, especially those set in the south with rich characterization and a strong sense of place, and this book fits the bill perfectly. Once I started reading, I couldn't stop, literally. This book is a page-turner. The characters were so real and likable, I felt they were friends I'd known forever. The hero, Sam, was so easy to fall in love with. He has his issues and flaws (that's what makes him real), but he's what dreams are made of. Plus, he's incredibly hot and gorgeous! This author really knows how to put heart and soul into a book. She is an expert with beautiful descriptions, three-dimensional characterization and intense emotions. I laughed, I cried, I cheered the characters on as they took a chance and followed their dreams. It is an amazing book! Don't take my word for it. Read an excerpt or sample and you'll see. Highly recommended as a fantastic read!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow! January 4, 2012
By Ka7e28
Format:Kindle Edition
I really loved this book! Throughout the whole thing you will be delighted to see Sam and Jenna's relationship evolve, as well as Sam's relationship with Ethan. This book is unpredictable and each chapter presents a new and interesting twist to the storyline. So glad I read it and would encourage others to read it as well. I'm a fan of romance so this book was definately for me! Can't wait for this author to realease more books! I'm SO a fan!

3.0 out of 5 stars Old fashioned love story December 6, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book was a straightforward romance with a child involved from the beginning of the story, but it didn't really hold any excitement for me, it wasn't really going anywhere interesting and got a bit predictable in the end. All in all a bit of a let down as it started well and the characters were well done, thus the three stars.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not as enthusiastic as the other reviewers! June 11, 2012
By J. Motz
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Alas, I cannot be as enthusiastic as the other reviewers about this book. Mind you, I've been on a tear reading about 30 books in 2 months time. This is the first book that I actually put down twice and almost could not finish. While I eventually finished it, it left me unsatisfied. Why? I had no vested interest in the characters. While the plot seemed realistic, the execution was not. ***SPOILER ALERT*** Days after she tells him he has a son, they get engaged. Really? No questions asked? My biggest problem with the book was the writing style. Cut and dry..conversations, events, people, timeline, etc. It seemed hurried. Descriptive details were missing. While I loved the references to Vanderbilt University, Watts Bar Lake, etc, and other TN landmarks (Since I live in TN) , I cannot find much else to love about this book. Sorry!

5.0 out of 5 stars Poignant and Sweet January 2, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
A single mother and the sole support of her teenage sister, Jenna Morgan is in dire financial strait. And, as if it was not enough, Sam, the father of her son is back in town after three years. Jenna knows that Sam is "bad news" for her heart because she still feels the same way towards him as it was three years ago. She is so scared that Sam will break her heart again. But her son Ethan's future is at stake. Yet, accepting Sam's help also means opening herself to a lot of hurt.

With poignant and bittersweet memories permeating in the whole, Jenna tugs at your heartstings from page 1 while you also fall in love with Sam the moment he walks into the picture. Both Jenna and Sam are young and impulsive. Still, both of them are willing to take responsibilities for the results of their actions.

I love it that Sam slowly fell in love with Ethan and did not do the super dad act. He took baby steps to become a father and also took very careful steps to make Jenna trust him again. The love is there; the physical attraction is there too. But both have been tempered with responsibilities to Ethan, their son. There were several times in the book that I was ready to shed a tear.

A good read. This book is PG 13 due to situational drama. There were sex scenes but not graphic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Must read December 30, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book was truly amazing. Not one of those average love stories about how boy meets girl and falls in love. This book was more detailed and much more different. From the lies to the love I enjoyed every bit of this book, from the first page to the very last it kept me interested. This is a must read!

2.0 out of 5 stars completely predictable from page 1 June 2, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book was completely predictable and unrealistic. Jenna is left pregnant after a short relationship and one passionate night, but Sam the father leaves her the day after their lovemaking. Three years later he returns to find he had a son and within less than two weeks all problems are solved, and everyone lives happily ever after. A mother useless free Kindle book.m

5.0 out of 5 stars Love At First Sight February 22, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I liked Bound to You because it has an amazing amount of realism attached to it. Most people do hold deep, complex feelings for the father of their child and it takes two mature adults to figure out how to deal with those things. What a wonderful book!

3.0 out of 5 stars Written well but not my cup of tea!
The plot sounded good but I felt like it all fell into place too easily. Jenna forgave Sam too easily in my opinion. Read more

I've read so many books, I'm almost never sucked in to the point I read the book in one setting. This one was the exception. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

3.0 out of 5 stars An OK story
A sweet story of family and romance, given some tension when the sins of the fathers cause problems for their children. A nice read, not demanding.
