I ordered this unit from Detector Electronics Corp. After using it, I thought I might have bought a defective product. I contacted the seller via email and he called me the next day. He gave me advise to try new batteries. I did this a week later, but was still not happy with the product. I contacted via email the seller again and again I got a call the next day telling me that I would be shipped another new unit, and to return the original in the box that the new one came in, with a prepaid label that would be included. A couple of days later I got the new detector... a Bounty Hunter Discovery 2200. I tried it out, and it worked great. I packed the old one into the box, put the provided return label on it, and took it to UPS.
I appreciated the kind service I got from the people at Detector Electronics Corp. NOT giving me a run-around, and giving me GREAT and PROMPT service on a defective product. Dan called me twice on his dime and told me both times he would take care of me... which he did.

I am a novice at using detectors, and I am happy with my purchase. So far I have found a 30's era brass/bronze Tarzan Radio button, in about 5 inches of soil... well more items then just that, but that is the most interesting and valuable item.

The Bounty Hunter 2200 works nice right out of the box. Easy instructions. Started fing coins at my local park right away.
