The members call it "The Network", but the covert organization really has no name. The members are incognito, totally erased from the world. The organization has branches all over the world. Only the American President and a select committee in the White House, called Oversight, even know it exists.

Rebel "Reb" Porter is on a mission to destroy the Network. Giles, the corrupt former head of Network operations who is now MIA, had killed Reb's father (a senator) sixteen years ago. Reb grew up and became an investigative reporter. He has evidence on Giles and the Network. A few years ago Giles had Reb's wife killed and made it look like an accident. Reb is determined not to get close to another woman for fear of the same happening. For two years now Reb has been in hiding with his German Shepherd, Scout. All his evidence is safely hidden. The last person he expected to come looking for him, and find him, was Adrienna "Ad" Kelly. Ad had been just one of many women he'd inadvertently shattered and destroyed. Last time he saw Ad, she hated him. So why is Ad really with him?

Network operative Natalie Francis is altered to resemble Adrienna Kelly so she could get close to Reb and retrieve the evidence he has on the Network. The Network's secrecy would be totally compromised should she fail to do so. She did not expect to find Reb in frail form and horribly sick. Caring for him is not easy since strong odors cause her to have "mind seizures". But what is the illness Reb gets almost weekly? Where is the evidence hidden? And can she keep herself from falling for Reb?

***** This is the third book in the Incognito series and the author seems to get better with each tale she writes. The story is extremely well written and totally believable. If you are looking for a quick read go elsewhere. This story is so good you simply must savor it. As the ending drew near, I found myself slowing down to do just that. Unlike most novels in the Romantic Suspense genre, this one does not slow down toward the middle. It is not fast paced, but there intrigue throughout the entire book. Brilliant! *****

Rebel Porter lost everything because of the `Network'. His father and his wife's deaths were connected to the `Network', and the rogue agent Giles Jameson. Reb wants the Network and Jamison to pay for what they did to his family.

Network Agent Natalie Francis goes uncover as Rebel's ex girlfriend. Her features are altered to those of journalist Adrienna Kelly in order to gain Rebel's trust and the evidence he has against the Network. In the beginning going after Rebel was just another job, a mission for Natalie, after finding him she finds herself wanting to abandon the network to be with him. But knowing what they know neither one of them will be safe.

Bounty on the Rebel's Heart does not disappoint. This is a fantastic suspense novel, Natalie/Adrienna and Reb are a great team. I'm so fascinated by this society Karen Wiesner created. I can definitely see these books as serial movies. Her characterization is so strong and the characters are full of passion for the work they do and the people they love. Bounty On the Rebel's Heart is the third installment to the Incognito series, but it can definitely be read as a stand-alone.

Natalie Francis is on a mission to find Rebel Porter and retrieve all the information he has dug up on the Network and its corrupt head of operations Giles Jameson so they can bring him down. The only way for Natalie to get close to Rebel is by posing as his former lover Adrienna Kelly since Rebel has closed himself away in a run down shack to protect the people he loves from any more harm due to the information he has collected. When Natalie arrives at the shack she discovers Rebel deathly ill and finds herself nursing him back to health while she searches for the evidence he has hidden away.

The close proximity Natalie and Rebel are forced to share brings them closer together and puts Natalie in the difficult position of choosing her job over the feelings she is developing for Rebel. The choice is soon put to the test when Gil Jameson comes gunning for Rebel and Natalie is the only one who can save him.

Bounty On The Rebel's Heart is the third book in the Incognito Series and can be read as a stand alone book as the author does a great job in giving the reader all the background information they need without making it feel like they have missed something or they are reading the same information over again.

This is another great story by Karen Wiesner. The characters she creates are so bold and full of life that you expect them to jump off the pages and the world they live in is so vividly portrayed that you feel like you are experiencing it right along with the characters. Bounty On The Rebel's Heart is a book you won't want to miss. It's so full of danger, passion, and suspense that will keep you reading long into the night.
