Eyewear safety in the machine shop is of great concern for all involved. Those of us that must wear prescription eyeglasses can use these flexible side shields on the approved eyeglasses for maximum comfort and safety.
Easily attached, formed to the shape of the outer edges of the lenses or glasses frame, adjustable on the side stem, they do not interfere when cleaning the glasses lenses.
Highly recommended, and a pleasure to use.

One pair of eye glass shields. It was a little hard to know how many pairs we were going to get. But they work well. Not ideal if you have small frame glasses, but they will still work. They have lasted a long time, so they are durable. Happy with the purchase.

The product is OK for the money. The protective shields are very good at protecting your eyes. These protective shields are very lightweight and will fit most if not all standard glasses. One plus about this product is that the protective shields are made out of a light weight rubber material which makes it easy to store them in your pocket on the go, and difficult to break them. One negative thing about this product is that they seem to be a little bit large on smaller frame glasses which allows a little bit of wiggle room. Maybe this is just my personal opinion but I think they make the glasses look kinda funny. This is okay because I bought them for safety and work not for fashion. Also one important note is that they slide onto the glasses they do not clip onto the glasses like some protective shields.

These sideshields cured my problem. I mow with a Lazer Z zero turn mower, and was constantly getting grass and dust in my eyes when I made turns. With these easy to use and comfortable sideshields in place the grass and dust is not a problem anymore. They also are great to use at the shooting range or when using power tools. I bought 4 pairs so that they are available for me to use at all times.

You can find these rubberized temporary side shields all over the internet. These work fine - I bought for my entire electronics and mechanical assembly area in a manufacturing plant. They are a "medium" size so they fit correctly on most glasses. They are a soft, pliable rubber (like the sides of full eye goggles) - so easy to squish as needed to fit over temple pieces. They are not a perfect fit on all glasses - none of these flexible shields are. But with the pliable rubber, you can manipulate them on your glasses to get appropriate fit.

I love these HL Bouton side shields!

After trying another brand, (Pyramex) that was so tight on my wire frames it broke off the soft coating on the arms. DON'T BUY THAT BRAND.

These are the side shields you are looking for. They're soft, conforming and easy to use. Buy HL Bouton because your prescription glasses cost hundreds of dollars and you don't want to ruin your expensive prescription glasses.

Sure it protects well but why can't they use a more flexible / pliable material than this? This is so rigid and I'm so afraid to damage my eyeglasses' arms that I now don't use this any more. A more flexible version should provide the same protection but pose less prospective harm to delicate and expensive eyeglasses. Sorry, I wanted to like this so much...

These work well, but I prefer the B-22 MHS Multi-Hazard Safety Glass Side Shield as they fit my medium sized glasses better and provide more coverage.
