Savage Tribes, Savage Women! Look out boys, the Ulama are loose! Yup, "the legendary White Sirens of Africa" -- a tribe of Fifties-era glamour girls who look like strippers in animal skins -- capture three male explorers who foolishly invade their secret plateau. Seeking a suitable husband, the Queen makes the guys fight the toughest gal amongst them: "Fire God take weak men! Queen take strong man!" But the other women object -- "She no burn nice men! We get husbands too!" -- and a tribal catfight quickly erupts. A mad mix of stock footage and cheesecake, Bowanga Bowanga is an utterly hilarious jungle-style Battle of the Sexes! And: On a tropical island 10,000 years ago, Nature plays a practical joke. The village of Wongo contains women who are all cover-girl gorgeous while the men are ugly "brutes." Miles away, the men of Goona are handsome though the Goona women are... well, downright scary. But when an impending invasion of Ape Men causes the tribes to meet, The Wild Women of Wongo go gaga over the Goona guys, get tough, and force the men into marriage at the Temple of the Dragon God. A screwball cult classic shot at Florida's Coral Castle in "Passionate Pathecolor!" Plus: A captive young lady is about to become a Virgin Sacrifice unless a big-game hunter can get to her first in this colorful jungle epic "actually filmed in Guatemala with Vicuni Savages" and featuring some surprising-for its-time nudity! Bring a loincloth. Warning: This program contains mild nudity, bad choreography, and sexy women speaking gibberish! Over 3-1/2 Hours of Jungles & Jiggles!

4.0 out of 5 stars So bad they're good! These are accidental comedies!! October 8, 2012

Bowanga Bowanga is actually the most boring film of the three - why it was placed first astounds me. If overweight middle aged females are anyone's idea of jungle princesses, then I must be gay. Pee Wee Herman in a leopard skin would have been sexier.

Wild Women of Wongo is the best of the three films, definitely. It is in unintentional laugh riot along the lions of Plan 9 From Outer Space - "old" jungle men have powder in their hair that keeps changing throughout the film. No one has sex or even comes close, so apparently these "wild" women got wild off camera with the producer in order to be cast. There is a definite homo-paranoia going on here, and lots of "whoops" references to how the jungle men only need each other, and are superior to the jungle women. Invite your friends! Have lots of booze! Bring out the tissues because you will be crying from laughter!!!

Virgin Sacrifice would have been a sexier film if it wasn't so concerned with trying to mean something. The virgin-ness of the cast members is certainly in question. The plot seems to get confused and forgets about its title.

3.0 out of 5 stars a little sweet and a little sour February 3, 2005
the good thing about this movie, is that its so stupid that it really deserves to be on your cult collection..if youre looking for talent forget it... nudity??? yes its has a little on the movie virgin sacrifice...i got depressed seeing the short-film on the extras...why?????? let me tell you about this perverted exploitation underground sketch...

its a short film done in the 1920's were for sure,,nudity on film was totally underground.....on this short film,,you see a lot of black woman topless as well as the main female character which is white....the white girl didn't look exploited in fact she looked like she enyoyed being naked....on the other hand,,the black females looked totally exploited...( you can tell it in their faces)...its like they didn't want to be there but i guess they did it for the money ( for the little money)its sad to see this on film ,,,, but hey,,, things change in time....its a good film to have on your collection because of this short-film jewel......

4.0 out of 5 stars JUNGLE FUN! February 3, 2013

I am often asked how I find these films to show my friends & my answer is "I Don't Know! I think they find me"! these are not digitally remastered & are in MONO but they are fun & are a time capsule of the kind of films that would get made to cash in on the then beginning of the TIKI/EXOTICA movement that today I so LOVE! This is best enjoyed when watching with friends having a Fruity Little Concoction in a Breezy TIKI environment! If you can't do that then dim the light in your living room have a Rum & Coke & have at it! Good Times!

I saw this movie on Netflix and had to have it. Ya, that's right it is a black and white movie but what a classic! It came on time and unbroken. WOW!

5.0 out of 5 stars Not to be taken seriously! December 10, 2012

I love movies that were "unintentional comedies". Bowanga Bowanga is the best one here. The other two just aren't my cup of tea. In Bowanga the acting is just awful, the costumes are silly, and the story line is just, well, umm, well, uh, oh heck, I just love it!
