For the price, you can't beat this combination of add-on optics to get as close to a subject as you would want to (unless you have a microscope handy). Although used infrequently, when you see something that deserves a really close inspection through your camera's lens, this will do the job without distortion. However, unless you have a really steady hand or fast lens, I would suggest using a tripod for optimum results.

This is a good kit of lens filters for not a lot of money. It's not as good as a true macro lens, but for the price, and the fact that it comes with a nice little case, not bad. I would recommend using a tripod for some of the higher number filters like the +10, it is a little tricky holding still enough to frame in a shot.
