I needed a bag for my new dSLR camera & I was interested in a tripod as well. I figured for the price I couldn't go wrong & even if it wasn't that great it would tide me over for now. I ordered it and when I received it I was pleasantly surprised. The back pack is a little smaller then a regular size school back pack. It holds my camera & accessories perfectly & I am even able to put my note book and school book (taking photography class). Its great for trips too. I pack up my shooting gear and put my wallet in there and I have everything I need. The cleaning kit is basic but nice to have and also fits in the back pack. The pictures I was show the tripod fitting in a little side compartment. I haven't tried that yet. The tripod was actually a lot bigger then I expected. Its not the fanciest tripod ever, but it holds my Canon Rebel perfectly and so far its working out great. I'm very impressed with all of it. I would highly recommend getting it if you are interested in a good size camera case & tripod and aren't looking to spend a fortune.

I've been looking all over for a solid travel bag and tripod for my Nikon d5000. Hauling around a mini shoulder bag along with other items on a photo shoot is just too cumbersome. This was perfect for me and in the right price range.

I would say I'm an intermediate photographer - not Pro, but far from amateur. This was just what I needed. The tripod was much bigger than I expected, which is GREAT! The quality works well enough for my needs... I'm not choosey about tripods, that's the least of my concerns. But upon testing, it holds up well, is sturdy and portable!

The bag is nice... a good store of compartments and pockets so that I can take everything I need with me rather than hauling a purse (or wallet), keys, etc. along with me, I can throw everything I need into the backpack and go!

It's purchasing items like these through vendors like this that has kept me a faithful customer of Amazon's for years! If you're considering the buy do yourself a favor and purchase, then enjoy the speedy delivery and quality product.

Very good value for the beginning hobby photograher with a DLSR and a few starter lenses. I ride a Goldwing GL1800 and this pack fits perfectly in the trunk for photo-ready touring.

It's a team that should be present, enables the camera and lenses protected. It is a waterproof bag and tripod, is great ... is much larger than it appears. This kit was an excellent investment.

Everything was value for money, except the tripod. I am not happy with its plastic construction. Rest is cool.

Why four stars and not five? Two reasons. (1) The included tripod -- while rather sturdy and nicely built -- is large. Not sure how easily I would attach it or carry it on the backpack. (2) The included cleaning kit is nice (a starter kit), but the lens cleaning fluid bottle was defective and had leaked everywhere. Not a huge deal, but enough of an annoyance that I uttered a few words of despair.

Aside from those two things, the backpack is a perfect size. The construction appears to be of above-average quality (for the price paid, anyway), and it seems to be rather durable, though I have yet to drop it down the side of a mountain or accidentally drop it into the rapids. The interior compartments are all Velcro based, so the dividers can be repositioned to fit your particular equipment. And, as a few other reviewers have stated, enough extra room is offered for a notebook and a few small snacks should you choose.

I like it. You will, too. Trust me.

This bag is wonderful. It is very light weight and holds two cameras, extra lenses and everything else. Wish there was more pockets on the outside. My only real complaint is the rubber cleaning tool that comes in the kit has a really strong odor. It eventually went away once out of the packaging, but it took awhile. I would highly recommend this product.

This is a great deal. You'd pay double to buy all these items separately. First, the tripod is actually a better quality than I expected. It's fairly sturdy and very versatile. The bag is a great size and can hold several lenses, tripod, instruction manual, wallet & keys and a few tools. The bag itself is a pretty good quality (not great, but better than average). I wish the spacer pockets for the lenses were a little more sturdy (that's why I knocked a star off), but for the money, it is perfect. It's very comfortable to wear on my back while trekking across town and into the woods. The cleaning supplies are nominal, but they work in a pinch. I keep most of mine in my bag in case I thumb-up a lens.

It arrived on time. It is good for beginners and if you do not have a lot of equipment. I like that looks like any other back pack without a flashing logo saying I'm expensive "rob me".
