The bag is about 16" tall so if the lens/camera body isn't longer than that then it should work. The inside is all open floor sapce with movable dividers so it can be configured however you'd like it. Not having a Nikon with that lens I really can't say for sure how it would work out. I got mine for little gear and extras for photo shoots so my camera doesn't even go in it. I also wouldn't classify this as a heavy duty bag so that could be a factor depending on how you're going to use it. Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

It should fit without issue but that does depend on how packed your bag is. I would not suggest putting it in the side pocket since half of it would be out.

I doubt it's waterproof, it's an inexpensive bag. I wouldn't trust it in a thunderstorm

14" high X 10" wide X 5" deep. The inside dividers are adjustable and can be moved to keep your camera/lens secure.
