The average capacity of four brand-new cells measured less than 1600 mAh at a 1000 mA (0.3C) discharge rate. This is worse than the Tenergy AA cells, and far worse than typical Energizer or Duracell NiMH batteries. This product is representative of the cheap, low capacity non-namebrand batteries that have been flooding the market.

I ordered a set of these batteries and ran them through the refresh cycle on my La Crosse battery charger, only to find that the capacity of the batteries ranged from 1,400-1,600 mAh. So I returned them for a replacement, and the replacement set of batteries is even worse! These batteries have been through about a dozen charge/discharge cycles and then a test cycle which reported their capacity as: 1232, 1240, 1324, and 1404 mAh. These batteries seem to be extremely cheaply made. They also feel lighter and are slightly smaller than an old set of 2500 mAh batteries that I was planning to replace with these. I guess now it's time to find a better brand of batteries because I seriously doubt any battery made by this company could ever come close to the capacity they claim.

I tested all the battery with La Crosse charger...none of them reach 3000mah...they range from 2000mah to 2500mah. Returned the product.

I bought one of these several months ago to try them out in a Canon SX 1IS. Worked very good, so I bought two other pairs several weeks ago. To my surprise, the two I got came with a charger (got 2 chargers). It is, however, of no use. The charger holds 4 batteries: 2 in the front, and 2 in the back. The back ones do not stay in place and just fall off. The charger itself is just a piece of garbage. Happened with both chargers. Clearly a design flaw, and a big one: You must charge in pairs, and a single pair is composed by one battery in the front and one in the back. Since both batteries in the back fall off, you cannot even charge one pair.

I don't knock off stars for the charger because it is not even advertised in this page. I cared about the batteries, and those are 5 stars.

These batteries really last 340 photos on one charge using a Canon sx10 is. All other NmH rechargeables do not have the staying power.

Having good rechargable batteries is a must for today's digital cameras and other electronic needs.
If you already have a charger that can handle the higher charge rates needed for the battery type, then this package is good. These batteries have very good charge hold rates and output. You can not go wrong with this 3000mAH rated batteries.

The findings are;
Batteries seem to hold a charge while in unit for extended period of time.
Very powerful flash and very quick recyling for next shot. (Photographer's best friend)
These batteries are worth the expense above the generic and "bunnie batteries!"

Purchased 12 batteries based on other reviews. Came out of the charger dead-no power. Didn't return them because the satisfaction of throwing them in the garbage was greater. Buy Eneloops!!

These batteries really are the best "AA" rechargeables I've ever owned. My Duracell 2650's cannot keep up with these batteries. My charger showed an actual capacity of 2800 mAh for these. Keep in mind that the Duracell 2650's showed an actual capacity of about 2400 mAh (both checked when new).

I have no idea how someone else saw less then 1600 mAh. In the real world, all I can say is that they last longer then ANY other rechargeables I've ever owned.

Batteries came in seperate 4 packs and each had a charger with it that will do NiCd and NiMH, always like extras.
