Gorgeous string music from all over the world,

If you haven't heard of Bowfire, they're a group of 10 of the world's top fiddle players from every genre from classical to Chinese.
The project was conceived by Lenny Solomon, one of the world's top jazz violinists who also directs and arranges for the tour. The group has just finished a mostly sold-out US tour and this CD is just a taste of what it's like being there. "The Line" is one of the few vocal songs among the 16 tracks and it's my favorite. Listening to the CD is like taking a world tour, from exotic Israeli "Klezmir Medley," to Led Zeppelin's "Kashmir" to folky "Orange Blossom Special" you're going to find something you like on this CD.
