This review is from: BoxWave AlphaSmart Dana ClearTouch Crystal Screen Protector (Single Pack) (Electronics)
For those who carry their Dana around a lot and there is risk of damaging the screen, this product has real value. It does provide good protection. However, it isn't as easy to apply as the directions indicate. Getting the screen immaculately clean before application is essential, and I found positioning the sticky shield to be a challenge. A special card is supplied to ease out the air bubbles--another time-consuming challenge. Assuming you've done everything right, you get the desired protection and the transparency is acceptable. You still have good 'touchability' on the screen.

In my case, I wasn't careful enough with application so I ended up with a few distracting 'crumbs' under the shield, which eventually annoyed me enough to attempt reapplication. The shield can be removed, rinsed off and dried with a hair dryer (which takes longer than you'd think). This got rid of the crumbs, but in the end, I wasn't satisfied with the reapplication and since I don't seriously need the beneficial protection, I ended up not using the shield at all. However, when the Dana is being crammed in backpacks for school use, etc., it's probably worth the effort to get it on there correctly.
