This product works exactly as it's supposed to! I got it for my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3, and I'm thrilled with the performance. It fits the LCD screen exactly, it was easy to apply, it stays securely in place, and is almost undetectable. It picks up smudges and fingerprints far less easily than the bare screen. There are instructions on how to clean and reuse the protector that I can't vouch for at this point, but if the thing works for another couple of months, I don't mind replacing it 2-3 times a year at this price.

I was surprised to find such a quality product. The plastic film sticks very well to my Lumix DMC-ZS3 and it is a perfect fit.

It is a bit tricky to put the protector onto the camera screen because one teensy speck of dust will cause a bubble, and you cannot get the speck off without washing the sheet. Even though I used great care, two specks got under the plastic and formed two bubbles, I don't know why the bubbles are so much bigger than the specks. I felt I probably did the best I could since the static sucked the dust specks to the plastic sheet. I left the two small bubbles and they don't really bother me. Of course, if you are Type A, obsessive-compulsive, or a perfectionist, they would drive you nuts and you would probably wash the sheet and go into a sterilize room to re-apply the plastic, and you would probably be able to do a much better job than me.

The directions are clear and helpful, and it does say you can wash and reuse the sheet--which is a plus.

I just wish that for this price, you should get two protectors. Thus the 4 stars instead of 5.

Box Wave used to make pretty good screen protectors back in the days when they were the best thing going. I used them back in the handheld Palm days. Now years later, I purchased a new Lumix camera. One of the Amazon advertised options was to purchase Box Wave's screen protector designed for the view screen of this camera, and I did that.

I have to say I'm disappointed. Advertised as "bubble-free": it isn't. Let me say that I have and have had a lot of different smartphones, iphones, ipods, palms, etc. I am experienced at applying screen protectors, but I was amazed how un-bubble free this product was. Really pretty shocking in fact. The applied Box Wave protector looked as bad or worse than the sticky film manufacturers use to temporarily cover electronic screens when they're boxed.

I also didn't like the feel of the exterior surface of this protector after application. It's not sticky, but your finger - or anything else - drags across the surface.. You'll definitely notice it when you try to slip this in or out of a pocket or tight camera case.

Bottomline: I removed it and threw it away. I would rather have NO screen protector and risk scratching the viewscreen than use this product. The camera looks great. This screen protector makes it look - and feel - cheap. Is it the worst product out there? No. But why settle for something that hasn't improved in ten years when there are other companies out there now making screen protectors that are far superior?

I didn't bother to return it for refund. While Amazon is good about returns, a $6.95 refund doesn't begin to compensate me for the time and effort of going through the refund process and standing in line at the post office, etc. For that price, I'd rather write a review and hopefully save a few others from making the same mistake I did.

I have used many screen protectors in the past on cameras and PDA's but I've never seen one that was as clear and easy to put on as this one! It's more rigid than the ones I use on my Palm so consequently, it's easier to install. It is perfectly clear and I can't even tell it's on my camera at all. I bought it for my new Panasonic ZS3 camera which has a gorgeous 3" LCD display. I made up my mind that I would not use this screen protector if it wasn't completely invisible because I was not willing to compromise my beautiful LCD screen on my new camera. I would rather take my chances on scratching it! Well, I put the protector on the screen before I even took a picture and it is still on it and will stay on it forever. I love it! Buy it - you won't be sorry.

This screen protector looked nice and went on as directed. However, after using it one afternoon and taking my camera in and out of the case a few times it peeled up off of the screen and developed a permanent kink and was useless. A definite "don't buy"

If you TAKE YOUR TIME, this product will be very easy to install. The fit is perfect and the appearance fantastic. Dust particles could adhere very easily, so apply the product in direct sunlight for optimum visibility and use canned air to clear any remaining particles. In short: follow the directions to a "T" and you'll be happy with the result.

What a pleasure it is to find that a product does exactly what it's purported to do. I carefully cleaned the screen of my Panasonic DMC-ZS3 camera using the cloth provided with the Clear Touch protector, then I followed the provided instructions to apply the protective film. The fit was absolutely perfect and the film adhered without a single blemish or air bubble. I've used protective films on PDAs, cameras, and cell phones, but none of them went on so easily and so perfectly as the Clear Touch protector did.

I bought this item after reading all the review before me. Though there were some negative review, I still bought this as the average rating was above 4. And I am satisfied with the product. The product case comes with the instruction. I read the instruction first, cleaned the camera LCD surface as per instruction using the cotton cloth provided. Then followed the instructions to remove the correctly numbered tab in proper sequence. And the screen protector fit correctly. When I was showing the LCD to another person, she did not even realize that there was a screen protector. I am using the camera for one week now, and no bubble or no problem yet.

I bought this as a recommended purchase for my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 camera. Especially after paying $200+ for the camera, I definitely wanted to take care of it and protect the screen.

The delivery came with the *reusable* clear plastic screen protector, a small plastic flattening tool, and a screen/lens cloth. I was just expecting the plastic protector; but there is no complaint from me because I certainly use the cloth.

Product was easy to install. We'll see how the reusing goes.

These protectors do what they're supposed to and are generally trouble free. For the price, however, it should include free shipping, or, at least, FREE with purchases from the same vendor in the case of buying it with the camera. I also would see where some might be interested in buying more than one, yet the shipping continues to be half again the cost of the product.
