Well its pretty good, I was just thinking the screen wasn't going to be leveled with the camera itself. You can cover the whole screen and part of the camera on the back, which is what I should have done, or you can precisely cut the protector to fit inside. If you do plan on fitting it inside, try to be as accurate in the measurements as possible. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who will be putting the SD780IS canon through some wear and tear, and still want it to be good.

Just purchased a Canon Digital Elph 1200IS (from Amazon) and was hoping this protector would fit the screen, since the screen is also a 2.5 inch LED.
In the package itself is a cleaning cloth, a cardboard "bubble smoother" and a screen protector. The screen protector looked very small and I had my doubts. Following the precise instructions (with some trial and error), the proctector fit perfectly with minimal distortion. It is even possible to remove the protector from the camera and clean it when needed. The small package arrived in an envelope through the mail in just two days. Please remember, there is only one screen protector, so attempt to not drop it on the rug, like I did. This caused rug fibers to attach to the "sticky" side and I could not remove all of them. :-( Great product; fast shipping Dropping protector on floor: Not too bright

This review is for the SD780 BoxWave ClearTouch screen protector with the sticker "Suitable for BWCT-DC1155" on the package. If you're like me, you're probably comparing this Boxwave ClearTouch screen protector to the Zagg Invisible Shield screen protector. Hopefully this review will help you make a decision between these two choices.
I've used the Zagg Invisible Shield for a couple of products and I have to say that the materials are superior to what Boxwave uses. The biggest difference to me is the transparency of the material. Screen protectors should be as transparent as possible, it would be best if they seemed to be invisible... The ClearTouch protector has more of a "matted" semi-transparent look to it. This does make the protector "Anti-Glare" properties, which may appeal to you. Here's my quick rundown of a comparison between the ClearTouch and Invisible Shield: Zagg Invisible Shield: - These things are hard to install. You have to moisten them and keep them wet while you slide the protector over a device. It took me about an hour to install the Invisible Shield on my Ipod. Once you install it you have to wait about 24 hours for it to dry! - Compared to the ClearTouch, it is crystal clear. - Costs TWICE as much as a ClearTouch Boxwave ClearTouch: - Much easier to install than an Invisible Shield. You don't have to wet the protector and slide it all over the place. Instant installation. - Has a "matted" look to it. It is not fully transparent. This does make it glare resistant. - HALF the cost of an Invisible Shield. Bottom line, both products will protect your screen from scratches. To me the Invisible Shield looks much better because it is much more transparent, nearly invisible. The ClearTouch has a matted semitransparent look to it that reduces glare. If you pay twice as much for the Invisible Shield, you will get a clearer screen. NOTE: the ClearTouch was not perfectly cut to fit the SD780IS screen. There is a millimeter of exposed screen along 2 sides of the protector, about 4% of screen surface area is exposed. If I centered it perfectly, then there would be a half a millimeter of exposed screen around the protector on all 4 sides. I doubt that millimeter of exposed screen will get scratched, but when you pay more than $5 for a tiny piece of plastic it better fit. I can't say how well the Invisible Shield is cut for the SD780IS, but I will tell you that it's not perfect for the ClearTouch.

I wanted to get this because fingerprints mar up the screen on the camera and this really does help. It's fairly easy to put on and fills the area and you can still see through it just fine. Worth the very small price tag.

Super camera in a tiny package,
This review is from: BoxWave PowerShot SD780 ClearTouch Anti-Glare Screen Protector (Single Pack) (Electronics)
This camera is truly wonderful. It is tiny and compact, so it can go anywhere and not be a hassle to carry along. It has 12 megapixels, so it only have a 3 x optical zoom does not matter, you can crop and still have a nice zoomed in shot. The color is what I liked best. Most cameras I have purchased in the past are good color when taken outside, but the color indoors is not the truest. Not so with this little gem. The colors are what they really are, both inside and outside. The videos are very sharp also. You will love this camera!

A great way to add a layer of protection to your LCD screen without it showing or obstructing the view of the screen. It is easy to apply, but study the directions and dry-run it in your head before applying it to the screen.

the protector does its job, but the film is a bit smaller than the actual screen. It's an insignificant size difference, but for those that are particular about having the edges line up, it may bother them. It works!

My wife loves it. It is easy to use. Takes great pics. View finder is what she wanted. Sometimes on bright sunny days you can't see subject on LED screen.

I love the quality of the pictures. The size can fit in almost any pocket. The price was great for a 12.1 megapixel. No cons.

This camera was extremely disappointing. Yes, it took good clear photos. But by the time I found the on-off button [the size of a pinhead and flush with the surface of the camera body], it usually was too late to shoot. Then, the battery lasted only at most 30-40 shots, a real bummer. Canon PowerShot SD780IS 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.5-inch LCD (Deep Red) and other colors You have to use Canon's proprietary software to view the images on a screen, and their "massage-ability" is limited. It's a pain to transfer them to "My Photos" in Windows where you can get at them with PhotoShop--and only there. The telephoto range is very limited but the anti-shake works well. Image quality: 10 on a scale of 10. Easy of use? 7 on a scale of 10. I think this is a drop in quality for Canon. Buy this only if you want one step above a toy.
