If you received two batts with your blackjack as I did, one will be a slimline battery and the other will be a long life heavy use batt. I use alot of the email and web functions in my working day on my black jack so I need the heavy duty batt in.

I ordered this case because of its rugged fashion. Its exactly what I need, but when I opened it up and tried to fit it round my phone, I found that the case would not fit a Black Jack with the big batt in place.

I gave it a 3 star because the construction is as described. Its rugged and looks like it will do exactly as it says, if you only use the 2 hour battery. I suspect on a phone designed for email most of us need the big battery.

I feel it should have been described better by amazon, because now I have to go through the pain of finding something else and returning this one.

The first thing I did with this is scratch the front screen because it's so bulky that I scratched it when I sat down in my office chair.

My Samsung blackjack is back in my top shirt pocket where it belongs.

Stay away from buying this case. It blocked my cell phone reception. Only in areas where I have the best reception, I could get 1 bar of service after putting my phone in the case. Look up "Faraday Cage" to see why this gets no reception. The one positive is that if you don't mind not having cell phone reception, this case would really protect your phone from almost anything and fit great.

my first attempt to open bent the bottom piece and it was never right. finally broke off. the rest of the case protects the phone tho.

I like this case. I had a similar one for my Treo way back when. The black version looks great on the blackjack. I stopped using it, however, because the hinge on the case makes it a bit too wide to fit into the leather purse that I use to carry my phone and credit cards. I am also not a huge fan of the clip, as when it is in use, it sticks makes the case stick out an inch from my body, making it too easy to catch on things as I walk by. So, for my purposes, it is not the ideal case at this time, but I still think it provides a good amount of protection for someone without my particular issues.

This case is nice it fits very well - my only complaint is that the case is easy ti bend and will be out of shape if you put to much pressure on it especially if the phone is not in it. But otherwise not bad at all!
