Good case October 13, 2010

The case is beautiful and attracts a lot of positive attention, but is quite fragile. I dropped mine from a pretty good distance and some of the pieces chipped off. I reattached it with wood glue real easily and it looks good as new, but it should be noted that for a phone protector case, this is fragile.

I have a boxwave bamboo case now both for my iPhone and iPad. They are beautiful cases, that fit very well, and lend an "organic" feel to the technology. I have no trouble with access to ports or buttons. The only drawback is that I live in a dry climate and some cases that I've had in the past have cracked. What I'm trying now is applying some oil to the cases (I use Boos mystery oil, for bamboo cutting boards) about once a month, and it seems to keep the cases in good shape.
