I actually started this series with Hot Six. I don't know why. I really wasn't expecting much. But it was great, so I bought the box set of the first three books in the series and read them in about 3 days. The Stephanie Plum mysteries are just so funny--I find myself laughing out loud all the time. A quick and pleasant read and the characters Evanovich creates are just fabulous--there is Stephanie herself of course, and Rex, her pet hamster; Joe Morelli and Ranger, her competing love/lust interests; Grandma Mazur; and of course, Lulu. If you like detective/sleuth novels and like Kinsey Millhone, you will love these books.

Excellent light hearted reading. Enough mystery to keep you guessing, enough humor to give you some chuckles and a lot of oh no's!!! Thoroughly enjoyable. I'll buy the rest of them.

You start reading one of these books and you're hooked by the first few pages! She's young, she's a bounty hunter and she's as real as one of your best friends! If you can read thru any of these books and not laugh so hard you're getting side stitches I'd be surprised!

Janet Evanovich makes her character Stephanie Plum seem like a real person--bad hair days and turmoil all rolled up in to one! You learn to love the character and all of her family and friends (Grandma Mazur, LuLu, Joe, Ranger, Connie).

Adventures galore, car chases, car explosions, murders, mystery, and an apartment that seems to be the place to be! Stephanie stumbles in to all sorts of messes and has some very hunky heroes who come to her aide from time to time--in her adventures as well as in her bedroom!

A friend gave me book #11 and I started reading it....could not figure out why my friend thought I'd want to read a book about a young woman bounty hunter but by page 3 of that book, Stephanie had hooked up with her friend, LuLu and the front tire of a bike had been shot, a car had exploded and a store had been robbed by a devil mask wearing robber.....all in the first 3 pages and I was hooked!

I immediately sent off for all of the books in the Stephanie Plum numbered series from Amazon and have been reading them starting with #1 and enjoying each and everyone of them! I even have the #15 book pre-ordered so as to not miss the adventure and it's not due out til June!!! I know you can start reading any of these books and learn some about the background of the characters but I think by starting with #1 and reading thru them in order you get to know each character better and see why they're all so tied in to each other.

A quick and easy read and once you get started you're gonna find it almost impossible to put it down as you have so much fun reading each book! My husband just stares at me in amazement as I sit laughing so hard I have tears rolling down my face and I have to explain to him what Stephanie has gotten herself in to this time!

I had read the books before [compliments of a friend]. I never laughed as much as I did with Janet Evanocich's stories. I purchased the books as a birthday gift for my great-niece. She needs some laughter in her life. Just graduated from college.

I purchased 3 box sets of the Stephanie Plum series volumns 1 thru 9. I could not put them down once I opened the book. Janet Evanovich keeps the words flowing and the humor coming. Granma is my favorite character. Everyone should have a character like her in their lives. I would recommend this series to anyone who loves to laugh.

I love Janet Evanovich her series is addictive. I have read all her books, thanks to several people who suggested her. At first sight I wasn't sure If I'd like them or not, but I am hooked. Quick easy reads a mixture of comedy and romance! I very highly recommend for those looking for a great read.

The Stephanie Plum box set was perfect. For one the books are hilarious and once you finish one you are able to start the next one right away. I also learned that by buying them singly, it cost more to buy three than in the box set. It was perfect.

Amazon sales the books not through them you have to pick on a list who sales them. So it is taking me longer to get the second box set. That is my biggest problem right now. I ordered the books about a week ago and still haven't gotten the second box set.

All in all I love the product and Stephanie Plum's character is young and feisty!

Love, love, love anything Janet Evanovich writes. Laugh out loud funny. A real pick me up read!

The characters are easily recognized and remembered. Entertaining, funny - as in laugh out loud, which I normally don't do. The neighborhood Stephanie Plum grew up in is believable as are her antics.

The quality of the books were good and I will be able to pass them on.

Love the Plum series. The characters are unforgetable. I caught myself laughing out loud, sometimes hysterically. Having a bad day, read about Stephanie and your day will not seem that bad. Can hardly wait to read them all.
