Good Music for a Long Time Fan
As a big fan of the Damned for a long time now. I found that the songs on the three CDs were a little different than what the typical Damned songs are supposed to be. I really liked the live version of Curtain Call and the remixes of Testify. If you are new to the Damned and want a broad spectrum of there music I would suggest "Light at the End of the...

The LAST Damned release you would ever buy...
This is a pretty strange batch of recordings. Mostly consisting of tracks from the ill-fated Cleopatra release (easily the worst single Damned disc of them all), along with some downright foolish remixes by some cheesy industrial bands, this "Boxed Set" is mostly a batch of rejects, demos, and bad memories. As I lifelong and committed Damned fan I would have...

As I lifelong and committed Damned fan I would have to call this the last Damned compilation that I'd ever reccomend. While it's not a bad deal, with three disks and all, it still can't compare to the fantastic "Light At The End Of The Tunnel" compilation, or with any of the official & origional studio LP's & live recordings. If you do buy this, you will mostly end up listening to disc three - which includes some odd live bits that might be of interest to a die-hard colector of Damned material. Better still, check these guys out live sometime - they still tour and they still kick major butt on stage!

I really liked the live version of Curtain Call and the remixes of Testify. If you are new to the Damned and want a broad spectrum of there music I would suggest "Light at the End of the Tunnel". If you want old school punk I would suggest "Machine Gun Etiquette". And if you are into the softer New Wave type sound I would suggest "Phantasmagoria" but this is really for people scrounging around for all things Damned
