The Chemical Brothers 'Swoon'

Biography

The Chemical Brothers 'Further' out 6/22/10

It starts with what sounds like an alien Morse code transmission; Earth bound signals bouncing off the side of orbiting space debris. Snatches of voices found out in the ether cut through the machine fog, drifting across burbling analogue equipment lovingly kept working long after supposed sell-by date. By the time the click and thump of snare and bass… Read more in Amazon's The Chemical Brothers Store

4.0 out of 5 stars The U.S. version of 'The Boxer' single, July 19, 2005

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Boxer (Audio CD)
This is the U.S. version of the CD single. It contains two tracks which were previously released on import CD singles for 'Believe'. However, the tracks from the import version of 'The Boxer' single are pretty much the same as on this U.S. single.

The CD track listing is as listed below:

1. The Boxer (Album Version)
2. The Boxer (DFA Version)
3. Giant
4. Spring
5. Believe (Matthew Jonson Remix)
6. Believe (Erol Alkan's 'Feel Me' Re-Work)
7. Galvanize (Abe Duque Remix)

'Giant' is a B-side taken from 'Believe' Pt. 2 import CD single. The 'Believe' (Erol Alkan's Re-work) is taken from 'Believe' Pt. 1 import single. The 'Galvanize' (Abe Duque Remix) and the 'Believe' (Matthew Jonson Remix) are released exclusively for this U.S. single. However, all the edits, extended versions and remixes are also available on i-tunes. Edits are kinda annoying, but you can download them if you'd like.

This U.S. single is also available on a limited edition double 12" LP and the track listings are slightly different than what it appears on the U.S. CD single. The B-sides are the true gems on this single and are worth your money.
