5.0 out of 5 stars Classified Keeps Getting Better
This is by far my favorite Classified Cd, and I thought nothing could have beaten 'trial & error' but this CD did. Almost all the tracks were solid '10's. 5th element and both versions of Unexplainable Hunger were probably 11s. Class' producing skills are unmatched in Canada and this album gave his best production, with live guitars, fiddles, keyboards and bag pipes...

2.0 out of 5 stars Keep those lyrics classified, son
Classified is not a good rapper. He knows it. On a lot of his tracks, he says stuff like "I never had the skill but they knew I had the heart." Well, Classified, you're right- you don't have the skill. What this album does have is some really clean production. If he stuck to making beats for good MCs he would make much better tracks. The song "No mistakes" is about how...

5.0 out of 5 stars Classified Keeps Getting Better, August 26, 2005
This review is from: Boy-Cott-In The Industry (Audio CD)
This is by far my favorite Classified Cd, and I thought nothing could have beaten 'trial & error' but this CD did. Almost all the tracks were solid '10's. 5th element and both versions of Unexplainable Hunger were probably 11s. Class' producing skills are unmatched in Canada and this album gave his best production, with live guitars, fiddles, keyboards and bag pipes this CD as a very authentic sound. Many critics say that Classified is the voice of Canada's underground hip hop scene, and with his work here that title is very fitting.

Simply put this Cd is worth every dime you spend on it. It is too good to just copy from a friend or bootleg it in anyway. Classfied needs teh money and he deserves the money with his efforst on 'Boy-Cott-In The industry'

5.0 out of 5 stars Wow, amazing, June 7, 2006
This review is from: Boy-Cott-In The Industry (Audio CD)
I can almost never give out 5 stars to CD's. I think I gave one to Atmosphere's new drop. All I know is I never heard of him, or any Canadian rapper. I downloaded the CD, and within a week bought 2 CD's from this guy. Some of the best, most origional rapping I have heard. Great production. Classified has amazing rhymes, delivery, and production, it makes an amazing CD. One of very few I highly recommend. You will not go wrong with this Can-uck. I have only listened to Trial and Error and Boy-Cott, but I would say buy Boy-cott and see what's up.

5.0 out of 5 stars 10TH ALBUM AND STILL GETTING EVEN DOPER!!!!, May 4, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Boy-Cott-In The Industry (Audio CD)
Forget all the g-unit and eminem bling bling sh*t, this is what hiphop should be all about!!!
10th album and each one is DOPE!!!!
i mean Class drops verse after verse of his life over the freshest beats around these days!! it's nuttin but the truth, stuff i for my part can relate to...
i can't name a favorite from the record because when i play it, i let it roll through all the tracks and interludes non-stop!! i can't get enough of it, same goes for the past albums!!!
this guy reps his hometown and doesn't get lost in all that thug crap you hear comin at you from all sides...
where has hiphop gone to these days??? Classified is stayin true to the roots and keepin it real no matter what happens, mass respect in every aspect!!!
keep up the dope style, this is what rap needs!!!!!
mass props from Germany at this point here!!!!!!!!!
anyone who listens to hiphop among my friends has had to listen to some song from Class when sitting in my car...to tell the truth: each one wants the albums and has 'em among his favorite and most-played records, this one definitely included!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars I'd buy this CD in quantity if I had more ears!, March 15, 2005
This review is from: Boy-Cott-In The Industry (Audio CD)
For a guy who doesn't even like rap / hip-hop, after i heard this Cd once I fell inlove with it! Went to HMV to sample the new Cd because my friends said I'd like a song on it, well after 15 minutes in the booth i Had to buy it! I mean you've never heard beats like these! Escpecially struck home with The Maratimes song. (How many rappers do you know that can fit bag-pipes in a song & still sounds great) I Know this song has potential! If it ever gets released on Video it'll top the charts in my opinion. Not to mention the Bassist in highschool behavior! Dam!
Anyway best of luck with the album & keep em comein!

5.0 out of 5 stars Inspirational..., August 10, 2005

When it comes down to it, Classified is just a blue collard worker who's been trying to make it big in the music business for over 10 years. He produces his own beats and is a good lyricist, you have to respect him for doing what he's done. His beats are catchy and he even admits that they sound commercial in one of the songs but they'll have your head bumping in a fresh way. He's not rapping about guns or money or ho's but he does rap about weed...lol. Seriously, this man has a lot of talent, just search for his official site on google and you can watch his videos of his singles. I hope that'll help you decide but if you're reading this and don't have this album, just buy it! You won't regret it, I've been listening to it for a week straight and when I listen to other music I keep coming back to it. It's just plain good hip hop. Peace...

5.0 out of 5 stars His best yet, some of the best hip hop coming out of Canada, March 6, 2005

What can I say, he managed to top his last album "Trial & Error" which is no small feat. Speaking of feat, he's got two songs feat. Royce da 5'9. 10 albums in as many years, and he's only getting better.
