Funny Bunny Story Great for Schools & Libraries!,
By
This review is from: A Boy and His Bunny (Hardcover)
This wonderful story is sure to be a classic for schools and libraries across the country! Pre-School, Kindergarten and First Grade Teachers will find this story a true new classic, useful for developing humor and creativity in even the most resistant child. Imagine doing all of the activities teachers have done with IF YOU GIVE A MOUSE A COOKIE, and your mind can soar from there. The ideas are endless, just like the older sister coming in with with an alligator on her head. This story begs "What else?" questions. "What else could he (or you) do with a bunny on his (your) head? What else could be on his head, his mother's head, his teacher's head, etc." Children can practice writing and computer skills utilizing this book, do art and math work, social studies, etc. Take it from me, a recently retired teacher and elementary school librarian, kids will LOVE this story. It's absolutely charming and I highly recommend it!

So cute!,

I found this book today and I totally love it! It is a rhyming story about a boy who wakes up to find a bunny on his head and how he is still capable of doing anything he sets his mind on. This book is great for younger kids. The words are big and there are not too many words on a page, and the story is pretty simple and short. It is silly and humorous and sure to cause a case of the giggles. The illustrations are clean, simple, and adorable. I bought this book for a friend of mine who is having a children's book shower. The story reminds me of an old favorite book from my childhood, Imogene's Antlers. Instead of waking up with antlers on the head, it's a bunny!

This book is fantastic. My son loves it! We borrowed it from the library 4 times in a row so I finally came online to buy it for him. He walks around my house saying Oui Oui French can be said....
It's a must read every night before bed.
