It's A Radio Disney Throwback...,

Apparently, not satisfied with being Avril Lavigne's guitarist Evan Taubenfeld has gone the pop route with this debut single, and I have to say it's not half bad, but it's a bit generic. Evan in this song almost sounds like Jesse McCartney circa early 2000s, when he was on Radio Disney. Therefore, this comparison makes me think that this song is perfect for Radio Disney, and could be a big hit in that arena. It's not that's it's immature pop crap, it has a catchy & original chorus, but it's sound kind of holds it down.So having been a fan of Radio Disney circa early 2000s, I kind of dig this song, especially the chorus. Whether or not the sound of the song is good is up to you, but I'm pleasantly surprised thus far. |
