My nephew laughed
I bought this book because I loved Freakonomics and wanted to support Stephen Dubner, but I wasn't sure how good it would be...I have read tons of "great books for kids" that I was less than impressed with...But, this was really cute. My 3 1/2 year old nephew paid attention when I read it to him, he laughed out loud and even asked to hear it again. That is a good sign...

Fine except for sticker on cover
I intended to give this as a gift to someone since it claimed to be in such great shape. Most of the book was in great shape and it looked new, except for the big sticker on the front. I could never completely get rid of it. That bothered me but overall everything else was fine.

I bought this book because I loved Freakonomics and wanted to support Stephen Dubner, but I wasn't sure how good it would be...I have read tons of "great books for kids" that I was less than impressed with...But, this was really cute. My 3 1/2 year old nephew paid attention when I read it to him, he laughed out loud and even asked to hear it again. That is a good sign to me. There is a "famous movie director" in the book too who is so clearly Steven Spielberg that it made me chuckle.

I found the book via illustrator Christoph Niemann's site, and watched the excellent video version. I love it enough that I'll buy it for myself, and probably as a gift for other little kids in my life.
Also a big fan of Freakonomics, and LOVE the Spielberg shout-out.

The is one of my favorite books to read to the kindergarteners-2nd graders in my library. I love asking if any of them have 2 belly buttons and at least one kid always says yes! None of them ever recognize Spielberg but any adults there at the time always smile. Great for preschoolers too.
